It has a little crowd. It is a high-demand college.
Placements: Maximum students got placed in dream and super dream companies. The highest package is 1 crore per annum and the lowest package is 10 LPA. Companies like Zoho, TCS, Google, Yahoo, and some other high-range companies visit the college to hire students. About half of the students got internships in the college.
Infrastructure: Vellore Institute of Technology is highly known for its infrastructure and facilities. It has a high-tech lab, library, and hostel facility with Wi-Fi. The mess, canteen, and others are good enough. It has big playgrounds, equipment, and other academic and game-related products, etc.
Faculty: Almost all staff members here are good enough with skill. Here they follow a different curriculum and exams. Exams are divided into 3 parts, and each takes part in our final mark. It is an amazing part. They follow different timetable patterns, and we can choose our own interested faculty members based on some criteria.
Other: I chose this course because it will be in high demand in 2028.

Very good college, definitely go for it, good placements and facilities.
Placements: Placements are going on right now. Even in this period of recession, they have placed almost 50% of students. Most of them get placed with an average salary package of 7 LPA. Above-average students can get placed easily with a salary package of 10 LPA or more than 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The courses are really good. You can tailor your courses, choose your professor, and select your class timings. It is very flexible, and you can customize it to your preference. The faculty members are also very good, and you can learn a lot. It is very good.
Faculty: The semester exams are really tough. You need to know your subject matter in order to score well. Only PowerPoints will be given by the faculty. You have to take notes and prepare for your exam. You need to pay attention during class.

VIT Chennai college review 2024.
Placements: Around 80% of students got placed last year. The average package was around 8 LPA. Top companies include IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, PayPal, Intel, etc. It is mandatory for a student to do an internship to get a degree, so almost everyone did an internship.
Infrastructure: VIT has very good infrastructure, with numerous buildings and trees. It has a library with sufficient books where we can get both hard copies and soft copies of books. Each block has around 700 classrooms and labs. My experience with the hostel was average, as it's too expensive and the selection of rooms isn't our choice. They allot based on the ranks given to us based on merit.
Faculty: Faculty members are professionals with doctorates. They are friendly with students and always available for doubt clarification. VIT's course curriculum is quite different from other colleges. It is a credit-based system where a student can select courses of his choice. The only condition is that he/she should complete the given amount of credit by the end of the course to get a certificate.
Other: I chose VIT Chennai as it is the best college in terms of placement. Some areas can be improved include hostel facilities. They provide regular outings for students, and conducting more sports-related competitions.

Don't fall for the high ranking of the college and its tier-two status.
Placements: A very few students get placed Every year. Even the job roles they get are within 3.5LPA. The major company that come for M.Sc. Data science students is Syngen which is a pharmaceutical company. The highest package our seniors got is 3.5LPA. However, majority of them managed to get an internship.
Infrastructure: As a whole it is good. However hostelers are not given Wi-Fi access while being in the academic blocks. Many a labs are air conditioned. Classrooms are either stadium type or normal ones. Projectors are avail in each class. Even though the class strength is more than 70 teachers are reluctant to use microphones.
Faculty: The difficulty of the exams depend just on our faculty. For many a courses we can't even choose the faculty of interest. They are highly qualified and hence their level of teaching is also so high level so that beginners in any area find it difficult to understand.
Other: VITs doesn't organize any celebrations. There is no sports or arts day. We have tech VIT and Vibrance in where all events are paid to participate.

Detailed review on VIT Chennai university.
Placements: Almost 90 percent of the students get placed and the highest package goes for INR 72 LPA, the average is around INR 8.5 LPA, and the lowest is around INR 4 LPA. Almost all the companies recruit from this university. The placement office does its job pretty well.
Infrastructure: Pretty well-maintained hostels and all other facilities are up to the mark and worth the experience. Sports are also good. Talking about medical facilities, its great because the ambulance and the hospital are right next to the hostels so help is immediate.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are PhDs; they are well qualified and experienced. The exams are a little too much because you will have exams every month. The curriculum is well planned and the lab components are also pretty amazing. You get complete hands-on experience.

The university has the best infrastructure in Chennai, with many necessary amenities.
Placements: 80% of the students were placed in different companies in different industries. The lowest is around INR 2 lacs per annum, and the highest is around INR 4 lacs per annum. The recruiting companies are mostly consulting firms and BPOs. The average annual salary is around INR 3 lacs.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are very spacious and have a projector setup in them. AC classes are there for business school and law school. The university has a big central library with an air conditioner. There are many places on campus to eat. Restaurants like Domino's, Gazebo, Gymkhana, Dashing, and more are there.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of the teachers are very friendly and clarify the students' doubts. The curriculum is very practical and industry-ready. The course includes many industrial visits and internships. The pass percentage is 50%.
