Review of Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology.
Placements: Every year, around 75% of students were placed. But the college does not provide any training for the placements, so start preparing for the placement from the 2nd year. Top recruiter companies only take 4 to 5 students while mass recruiter like Accenture hires around 30 in MCA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was decent as per the college fee. The hostel was only provided to 2 MCA students, and rest of the students in the hostel were from engineering. Hostel provides 4 meals a day, and food quality was good. The canteen was good and provide thali at a cheap price. Most of the snakes were deep-fried, but the chinese dishes were prepared healthily.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified but few of them were lazy while teaching. As the curriculum was based on Mumbai University it was outdated so the students had to learn the new technology themselves. Every semester students had to submit a project. Around 90% of students pass every semester.
Other: The main motto of this college was studying so students had to attend the classes even during events and celebrations. The crowd was mostly nerdy and focused on studies. College does not had uniforms and the dress code for casuals was very conservative.

    VESIT is the best college.
Placements: The college has a very proficient placement cell. Most of the students were placed before convocation. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. MNC like JP Morgan, KPMG, Accenture, General Mills, Nomura and many others visited the campus. Most of the students were onboarded as a trainee level.
Infrastructure: The college has a huge campus with two buildings for Business and Engineering. Labs are high tech with the availability of all the needed apparatus. It has a huge library with books ranging from the past 1900s to the latest magazines. The canteen serves a variety of food with reasonable price and has occupancy for a large number of students.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best. They are very helpful and talented in their own specialisation. All of them are highly qualified from the pristine educational system. Their dedication to the students helps them achieve great success in life. Every Student and faculty are in communication with the personal user-id, including the principal and office staff.

VESIT gives us wings to fly in our education and hobbies. Overall, it's the best college.
Placements: The placements in our college are good, but there is a certain criterion. Companies are divided into two categories, i.e., dream and non-dream companies. If a company offers a salary package above 5 LPA, then it is considered as a dream company, or else it is considered as a non-dream company. In MCA, almost 75% of the placements are done. Students have to do an internship for six months.
Infrastructure: There is a separate hostel for both girls and boys. The fee of hostel and mess is Rs. 96,000. Various facilities like a dining hall, indoor games, LED TV, snacks, etc., are also provided by our college. The infrastructure of VESIT is the best. Especially, IT college is a different world for students. Free Wi-Fi facility is provided to the students. There is a garden outside the college, and it is maintained properly.
Faculty: There are five courses in engineering and two master degree courses. The teachers in the college are the best and highly qualified. Almost all the HODs and deputy HODs are PhD holders. The teaching method of all the teachers is different; some of them use the board, and some use a projector. Laptop and projector facilities are provided in every class. Teaching and non-teaching staff members are excellent and helpful. A faculty advisor is assigned to every student. If we have any issue, we can discuss it with them.
Other: There are other societies in VESIT like IEEE, ISTE, CSI, and ISA. In VESIT, there are different councils for different portfolios like cultural, sports, e-cell, and Spice. Praxis is a technical event which is organised in September. A cool fresher's party is conducted to welcome juniors. In January, the cultural events Illusion, followed by Utsav are conducted, and in between these, there is a music event. Sports are also conducted in our college.

I am satisfied with the education, good placement in 2015 and has good infrastructure.
Placements: The placement was good. About 80% students were placed. The lowest salary offered was 2.8 LPA, the highest was 9 LPA and average was 3.3 LPA. Companies visited: Accenture, pragmatix services, General mills, General electronics, Applied cloud computing, Atidan etc. Roles offered were Software engineer, Developer. Yes, there is a placement cell in the college and it does help the students.
Infrastructure: The college campus has Wi-Fi, Library facilities. Has Air conditioner labs and Gaming room. The college also organizes many sports events and various cultural fest which are managed by students itself. The lab and class conditions are good. The food in canteen is average but some items are good. No, I did not face any infrastructure related issues.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were qualified and knowledgeable and their teaching was also good and had helped the students. Many courses were available and therefore, the number of students taking admission is also large. Therefore, the number of teachers is also large. Yes, the course curriculum was useful.

Dissatisfied with the canteen, moderately happy with faculties and extremely satisfied with placemen
Placements: Placement cell is amazing, there are a lot of companies which comes for campus interviews and in between the academic years some professionals comes for guidance on how to get a good job. Companies like JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Accenture, L&T, Cognizant and many more keep coming for placements. 90% students gets placed in an average with minimum package of 6.5 lacs per annum and a maximum of 25 lacs.
Infrastructure: We have great infrastructure, a good looking curved building which has MCA and several streams of engineering. In front of that there is management building and Pharmacy building too. Wi-Fi is difficult to connect and use. Mostly unavailable, canteen has never served us good food which always disappoint us. But yes the classrooms are well-equipped with blackboards and projectors and labs are sufficiently equipped with all the systems working, chairs proper and whiteboard and a projector in each lab. Sports and games facilities are also good we have a huge ground. I have never been to hostel but the food is bad there too.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable but some of them cannot convey it properly and that's when it's a difficult task for us to understand. They use boards, ppts, word docs etc. And also explain us by giving notes but majority of the crowd can not understand what the faculty wants to explain.
Other: Fests are something which is almost every week. Every next week there's a new fest and we get a lot to learn.

Satisfied with all the opportunities that a student gets to grow in professional and personal life.
Placements: The placements are very good. The students get lots of opportunities. 80% of the students were placed from 2017 batch and 90% of the students from the senior batch. Companies like Nomura, General Mills, Industrial Valley Partners, BNP Paribas give the package of around 5 Lacs to 6.5 Lacs. Other companies like Accenture, Zeus, Vara, etc., give the package of 3.5 Lacs to 4 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome. All the facilities are available. The whole campus is divided into 3 buildings, engineering, management and pharmacy. The campus also has hostel facilities. The hostel rooms are well maintained. Wi-Fi is available, labs are well maintained with printer in each lab. The canteen is average.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. All are well qualified with great knowledge. PPTs are used for teaching. Extracurricular activities were also conducted for the improvement of students personal and professional skills. The placement training programs conducted helped us to gain confidence during placement.
Other: There are 3 major events in VESIT. Praxis is the technical fest which is held during the August or September. Many fun activities like robotics, etc. Then it's an illusion where there is a battle between the teams of 6. Utsav is the cultural festival where we get the opportunity to expose our talent. The scholarship is provided to the top 10 rankers of the batch. The campus crowd is good with enthusiastic young students.
