Review of Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute - VJTI Mumbai.

Placements: Top-class companies visit VJTI for placements. Multinational companies like Wipro, Vista, L&T, Tata, etc., visit the college every year for placements. A maximum of students get placements. To get placements, students should have a pointer above 7.5 so that students can give interviews with companies. Students get placed but only on their average score. They provide internships in good companies and help us to get the best for their future job. We don't have to attend the college in 3rd year if we manage to get an internship.

Infrastructure: The college is the topmost college. It has a nice campus and nice teachers. There is a good positive vibe for students. It is a government college, so it has its own hostel and mess. The fee for the hostel is Rs. 12,000 for a year with mess and that is much less according to other hostels in Mumbai.

Faculty: It is better than any other college. It is innovative and flexible. Some of the old faculty members have real wisdom and go very deep into the subject. They don't believe in finishing the syllabus but whatever they teach is taught in full depth. Innovative assignments aligned with the teaching make us use that knowledge and practice. The exam structure is simple. We have an MS semester test for 40 marks, which is converted to 20 marks, and the end-semester test is for 100 marks which are converted to 60 marks, and the remaining 20 marks are given on assignments. The course is well-updated. The faculty members are very friendly and ready for any difficulties faced by the students to solve them. They give proper guidance to students. The course syllabus is properly balanced during the semester.

I like environment of campus. Campus is 16 acres.

Placements: There is a variety of companies that provide internships and the salary packages provided by ECPL, Infosys, and many other reputed companies help students develop knowledge and prepare for their future of students. 6th-semester students are eligible for campus selection and internships are given to them by many upcoming companies like ECPL, Infosys, HCL, and other companies for various students which help them financially.

Infrastructure: Rooms are very quiet enough not saying that they are best. The food of mess is very good as compared to other college's mess. The process for registration of hostel is through your MHT CET scorecard.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They ensure safety. They are very encouraging and positive. They motivate students during exams and tough times. Each student is given a separate place, and all items are provided by giving study holidays. I chose this because they have placement opportunities.

Other: There are many communities like Technovanza for making techno projects and bots. Pratibimb and Rangwardan for organizing fests and other cultural activities. There is enthusiasm for organizing sports tournaments and events.

Top class institute - VJTI, Mumbai.

Placements: After IIT Bombay, our college have best placement. College placements is 100% before completing final semester all students have offer letters in there hands. The top hiring companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Samsung, etc. 80% students got offer letter from company from they completed internship. Packages are very high; 40 LPA is the highest and average package is 6 LPA. Roles are different for all organizations, but software development is the most common role.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and hostel are too old and need major development. The college sports field is very cool; we have tennis and badminton courts. The college provides Wi-Fi for all students. Classrooms are a little old, but they have all the facilities like projectors, digital and normal boards. Libraries are many but the biggest is the central library, where all curriculum and non-curriculum books are available. The hostel is very old and it has limited seats. If you do not get a hostel seat, then the cost of living in Mumbai is very high. The lowest rent of 1 BHK is 25,000 per month so it is a major problem.

Faculty: Teachers at VJTI are very impressive; many are IIT alumni. Teaching is very smooth; they are brilliant and can explain the most complex concepts in the easiest way. The course is best and our college's best duration is 3 years. It's major IT subjects and software that's used in top industries. Semester is very difficult but all are toppers of exams and have brilliant past scores. Almost all batches get passed but in all subjects, clear students are less .

Other: Despite the bad infrastructure, VJTI is still a still a top college in Maharashtra.

Overall, we are satisfied with the facilities and placement opportunities at VJTI.

Placements: Our college has a reputation in Maharashtra, with a vast alumni network. 100% of our students secured placements, but the packages offered last year were comparatively lower. The highest package reached 60 lakhs, while the average stood at 8 lakhs. Renowned companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Autodesk, etc., participate in our placement drives. To secure internships, a minimum CGPA of 7 is required, ensuring a smooth internship placement. The roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) and Data Engineer.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is commendable, although its maintenance has room for improvement. We possess a sizable library and e-library. The computer lab is well-maintained, and free Wi-Fi and LAN are available throughout the campus. Hostel admissions are competitive and based on scores, with limited seats available. The mess food quality is good. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy facilities like basketball, football, volleyball, cricket, and kabaddi courts on campus.

Faculty: The teachers are extremely helpful, with many being recognized by the Government of India. Their teaching quality is excellent, demonstrating their intelligence and proficiency. The recent modifications to the course curriculum have incorporated data-related content, making us more industry-ready. Semester exams are challenging, requiring a minimum score of 40% in all examinations.

Other: Our college fest is a grand event, attracting a massive crowd, with celebrations echoing throughout.

Overall, it is a full package with all the facilities.

Placements: With top-class placements, almost all of us get placed. The highest package goes up to Rs. 1 crore. The average package is 7 lpa. Top companies in industries like Amazon, Google, Deloitte, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, etc. come for on-campus hiring. 100% of students in class get an internship at a minimum stipend of INR 15,000 per month. The roles offered are SDE and business analyst.

Infrastructure: The only drawback of the college is its infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available all over campus, and the library is big and has a lot of books. Hostels are separate for girls and boys, with all kinds of facilities. Mess food is of the best quality every week. Two times a week, special dinners get served. We have 4 canteens on campus, and the food is very tasty. Very limited sports facilities are available in the college.

Faculty: Teachers are highly educated and knowledgeable; they are more inclined towards practicality and practice. Course curriculum designed according to industrial requirements makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are the toughest; the library got filled with students. Although it is tough, 80% of us pass.

Other: I always wanted to take admission at VJTI, and finally I got it. Our college has it's own reputation. No one can deny that our college is one of the best.

Good only in terms of fees else there are better options than VJTI.

Placements: VJTI maintains 99-100% placements almost every year. The packages of MCA students aren't that high as compared to packages of B.Tech students. Most companies don't allow MCA to sit interviews when compared to B.Tech. The highest package goes up to 8-10 LPA. Around 25-30 companies come for B.Tech and 15-20 for MCA.

Infrastructure: It's an old building as it was built during British time. Hence, all classes and hostels are of an old structure. For MCA, there are no seats in the hostel. Canteen food is good and reasonable. The campus is huge but constructed in an ancient manner. There is a big library which has the caste-based distribution of books. Bank and ATM are present inside the college.

Faculty: The faculty are nice and experienced but still lack the art of teaching. The faculty are busy in comparing students with B.Tech students which sometimes demotivates MCA students. The curriculum was lengthy at our time, but now they have reduced the count of examinations.

Other: A yearly event is organised only in the month of December where the entire college is busy with their field of interest like dance, drama, sports, acting, technical events, robotics, etc.

IMCOST takes the students to new heights.

Placements: The placement facility provided in our college is extremely nice. As seen and heard from the seniors, good placement services are available. Many sincere students have got placed in good companies like Capgemini. So, the college is good for placement opportunities.

Infrastructure: Firstly, I would tell that our IMCOST has fully Wi-Fi enabled campus for providing internet facilities to the students. The labs are well maintained, and medical facilities are good enough. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned. It feels really good in the college surroundings to study comfortably.

Faculty: The faculty of our college's MCA department are very helpful. They have a friendly attitude towards us. The teaching staff are very caring and always encourage students in studies, and even the non-teaching staff are polite to students. We are happy with the faculty and our course teachers.

Other: Our college organises many events and seminars to boost the performance of students and engage them in active participation in various activities. Several IT seminars and events like food fest, elocution and many more are organised every year for insiders and outsiders.

The summary of MCA department in well-renowned Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute.

Placements: Till now the placements are not satisfactory because our college is still lacking good faculty members to teach the latest subjects trending in IT industry as per the trend. Only 10-12 students are successfully placed, and the rest just said we're sorry.

Infrastructure: Even the government hospitals have better infrastructure than this college, This college lacks good infrastructure because students are not aware of his/her rights granted to him/her. Only the civil department is well-furnished. Only 10 out of 70 computers are in working condition. The labs are just like a concrete garden. No fans, no air-conditioners and 60 dead computers are there in the room.

Faculty: Only 2 out of 7 faculty members are well-qualified. The rest are not even aware of the subject they are teaching. If the recalling of faculty members is enforced only 1 out of 7 will survive the test rest won't be able to answer a single question. The course has subjects that are outdated because of which these faculty members are on cloud nine. The faculty members are the co-operative and most important aspect that it is a nightmare for every student is their behaviour towards each student. Here one day we are told to bring our laptops for a practical sessions, and the very next day we are kicked out of lab because usage of the laptop is prohibited in lab premises.
