My review, my college, my life.
Placements: Nearly 95% of the students were placed in our course. The highest package is 20 LPA, the lowest package is 5 LPA, and the average package lies between 5 LPA and 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies recruit our students. Nearly 40%-50% of students got an internship from our course. Companies such as Google and NTPC recruit our students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very clean and neat. Our college is under CCTV surveillance, and Wi-Fi availability is also in our college. The laboratories are under air conditioning. The facilities in the college and the hostel are comfortable. The quality of food in the mess and the canteen is awesome.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The ways they teach are very clear and understandable. The curriculum is relevant to the course. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are very difficult, even though the students crack the exam with good marks. Nearly 85% of students pass the examination.

It is a good college but faculty members are average.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements but it provides industrial training. Exams are conducted for the development of skills of students. The courses offered in our college are good.
Infrastructure: It is a very big college with different blocks for different courses. All the facilities are available in our college. A hostel is provided beside the college with all the facilities. The building is a little old and the food served is average. Labs, sports, a library, and other events are good in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are average but helpful. They teach students practically. Exams are conducted semester-wise. Students pass exams based on their skills. The pass percentage is 70%. There are different programs and subjects to make students ready for industry.
Other: I chose this course because it is a very good course to learn about construction, design, and other things. Our campus is very big and crowded. Sports are available. Scholarships are provided in our college. Our college offers many courses.

Placements: We have not received any placements through our college, as the Polytechnic course is after the tenth standard most of us prefer to continue the higher study of B.Tech at another college. Some students would attend the off-campus drives to get placed. The starting pay for a fresher varies between 15-20 thousand, roles offered are the junior engineer and the assistant engineer. Some of the top recruiting companies are MEIL and L&T.
Infrastructure: The college has good library facilities and the entire campus is covered under Wi-Fi of good speed. The classrooms were spacious and well maintained and had good facilities. The hostel food is just average and decent. The hostel is clean and big, it is located inside the campus. It has good canteen facilities with different kinds of food items available. A separate clinic is available inside the college.
Faculty: The teachers and professors are qualified, well knowledgeable, and the best in delivering content in the classroom, teachers are very friendly and helpful to the students in academics. The curriculum is industry ready and focuses mostly on practical knowledge. The difficulty level is moderate in all the semesters and the pass percentage is 80.
Other: Civil engineering is associated with infrastructure and housing it had greater scope in all fields. The College campus is spacious and has good facilities occasionally there are sports activities and very rare fests. All of the students get a scholarship if they are eligible.

I am satisfied because of the good faculty members and college timings.
Placements: I don't think many students get placements from our college. The college didn't promise any guaranteed placements. There are 60 students in our class, and all have to struggle to get a job.
Infrastructure: Facilities of VMR Polytechnic college are good and the labs are also clean and well-maintained. We also have a library where students can get all the books but some books may be unavailable because any student can borrow that. So it is better if we buy the books if we can afford them, or else borrow from friends. The quality of food available in the hostel is good, but some students might not get satisfied. We have a spacious playground for sports and college fests students can play cricket, football, etc. Medical facilities are also available like a first-aid kit.
Faculty: Yes VMR Polytechnic Teachers are helpful and they are qualified enough to solve our doubts. They teach us well. This diploma course makes students industry-ready because in the final year of college, students are sent to industrial training for 6 months and the difficulty in semester exams is quite hard for those who didn't attend classes regularly. But students who attended regularly they can pass out with struggling. The pass percentage will be 33% out of 100%. Many students face a problem in engineering maths.
Other: I opted for this course because I am very passionate about civil engineering and have an interest in construction. It also has good scope. What I like the most is the college timings are which are 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Transport facility is also available by the college. Events and fests are conducted at the end of the year like freshers' party or thanksgiving fest. Scholarship option is also available if our income is less we can get scholarships from the Telangana government. For the scholarship application process, VMR college staff will help us and they apply on behalf of students.

The college is very good at this location. The area is quite silent and good for studies climate.
Placements: In our course, all are good, but some students are failed in some subjects. Above 70% of the students in the class got placed. None of the students got an internship from our college as those facilities are not provided in this college. None of the companies recruited students for internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are good. There are many classrooms, but proper facilities like fans, glasses, windows, etc., are not provided. They don't have drinking water facility for 24 hours, and it is very difficult in summers. Otherwise, our college is good enough.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are good, and they are well-explaining as possible. They have some curriculum issues, but faculty members are good at the place of studies. They conduct other lab activities in which we will perform well by the pleasure of teachers. Teachers were explaining well in the lab works also.
Other: The better thing about our course is a survey which we do live on the land, plots or open areas which are very exciting for all engineers.

Candidates must have passed 10th level Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or another examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as Central Board of SecondaryEducation (CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
Candidates must have passed in all subjects including Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry with a minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
Candidates who appeared or are appearing for 10th or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2024, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET-2024.
There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2024.
