Medical college of Vydehi. Good infrastructure but nearly no holiday and no fests.
Placements: All of the students get 100% placements. After MBBS, we get a high salary. Here, the interns also get some amount of stipend. After MBBS, we can work in any field, like self clinic, or work in any other hospital as an assistant doctor. This course is so good that we can get a good job opportunity.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are huge with air-conditioned. The class is huge, each class has strength of 125 students. It has a huge library. Labs are also so huge and well-equipped. Hostel is also too good but the cost is a little high. Mess food has a moderate taste.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified and extremely good at teaching. They make the students learn the topic personally. But the college has less sports and programs. Exams are at standard levels. Mostly the passing percentage is nearly 100%.
Other: Fests, events, and extra-curricular activities are least, nearly none.

About the B.Sc. in Radiotherapy Technology.
Placements: A plethora of opportunities was arranged by the college in various reputed organizations. The maximum and minimum salary packages offered to the graduates of B.Sc. in Radiotherapy Technology were 5.87 LPA and 2.93 LPA, respectively. Also, well-performing candidates were provided with opportunities abroad for master’s studies and job offers.
Infrastructure: Laboratories were exclusively designed for each specific discipline, considering its purpose. A few of the laboratories were located in severe traditional zones, so necessary precautionary measures were taken and checked before every lab session. As a result, admission seats were filled in all the years before the last day of admission.
Faculty: Professors simply planned the teaching of the syllabus and delivered practical training. They did not plan anything regarding examinations or strategies to clear them. Their simple goal was to teach the complete syllabus to students.

Review of Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre.
Placements: The college offers jobs like tutors in the college itself with a monthly pay of nearly 70000. The degree is valuable outside, too. PG courses are offered within the college, which are quite decent. There are also medical officer jobs that can be applied for in the attached colleges.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are good, the simulation lab is top notch, but the extremely necessary are ignored. The toilets are extremely dirty, the mess hall is not cleaned, and is covered with pigeon excrement. The canteen is actually in a modified shipping container. The hostel is really bad and the food is not good.
Faculty: A lot of the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but very few want to teach. Most of them read out of PPTs. The exposure is pretty good, but all the patients are mostly Bengal, and without learning Bengal, it's hard to understand the patients without it. Self-study is necessary to pass anything. The internals are medium difficult.
Other: The college is very conservative, and the rules are very strict and outdated. We have a uniform, no devices allowed in class, the security mistreats us, and we can't go anywhere without being questioned. There have only been 2 fests in the college's history, which were established around 25 years ago, and they are also quite namesake. Extracurricular activities are nil. The college is only for people who are okay with an extremely conservative mindset and are here only to study and pass.

It sets a successful career path.
Placements: It was an excellent space for creating students' career paths most successfully. They had given vibrant ideas after completing bachelors degree in medicine. The initial packages provided to the students from their probation period itself which were 3.5 LPA, after which it was above 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Features of the college were superb, good, and flexible for the students to adopt as soon as possible. Along with the institute, there will be a separate space created for research centres. This research center improved the college to some extent and created multiple solutions for the students' proposals and made them happen in real.
Faculty: Hopefully teachers had strong knowledge in the field of medicine. They were highly professional and experts in handling classes from the basics. They had good hands-on practices in the surgical and other relevant classes. For improving grades, repeated exams were scheduled.

Bachelor of Science in perfusion technology.
Placements: B.Sc. in perfusion technology students got placed in organizations like LivaNova, and Medtronic with salary packages ranging between 3.5 to 5.4 LPA. Most of the students showed their interest in joining the master's program rather than participating in recruitment drives.
Infrastructure: Essential equipment used in real-life surgeries is available in the laboratories for providing hands-on experience. Both female and male students are asked to dress formally, with extra supervision on the girls' dress code. The network facilities are only used by the college faculty members.
Faculty: Teachers are known for their standardized academic coaching, and they are familiarised with analytical and technical skills. Teachers have a good level of patience in making students clarify their doubts within the class. Passing the subject exams is highly easier with the assistance of teachers.

Extremely outdated and irrational rules, good infrastructure and average faculty.
Placements: It is a reputable college and they have a hospital of their own which pays comparatively well (75,000/month for tutors after MBBS), but stipends for further education are either very less or non-existent. Many pursue exams like USMLE and exams abroad.
Infrastructure: We do have AC classrooms and a very well-equipped VASA simulation laboratory. The library also has central AC and most books are there along with tables which have a Prepladder subscription. There is a self-study room too. The hostel, on the other hand, is the worst. Rules are extreme and the infrastructure is very bad. Food is quite poor and many students fall sick from it.
Faculty: Faculty is pretty okay. Some are good, a lot of them just read out PPT. Mostly have to study by ourselves. Exams are sometimes purposely made hard in an attempt to make us study harder. The 1st year of MBBS, 50 people failed in the 1st attempt at finals.
Other: The rules are extreme, security is crazy. Dress code has uniform and a clean-shaven face for boys and strict adherence. They threaten with suspension for everything. You will not be treated respectfully. Till now only 2 fests have happened in the college’s history and both were namesake. So if you only want to study, don’t ever want a social life, then join.
