Review of Wainganga College of Engineering and Management (WCEM), Nagpur.

Placements: Placements were moderate. Most students were placed in service-based companies like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, L&T Infotech, etc., with an average package of 2.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA. Core branch placements were limited and largely dependent on student skills. Placement cell was active and organized training sessions, aptitude tests, and mock interviews Internships were encouraged, but students must find opportunities on their own.

Infrastructure: College campus was well-maintained and spread out, offering a peaceful environment. Infrastructure was above average compared to many regional colleges in Nagpur. Hostel facilities were available for both boys and girls. Rooms were spacious, with basic amenities like beds, study tables, fans, and attached bathrooms. Food was served through an on-campus mess, and quality was average.

Faculty: Faculty members at WCEM were experienced and approachable. Professors guided students well, especially for academic and mini projects. However, research exposure was limited and industry collaboration needed improvement. Their strength was friendly nature, available for help beyond class. Teachers weakness was limited industry exposure and advanced research.

Other: Our campus environment was good. It provided decent infrastructure and library. Faculty members were friendly and helpful. There was an active placement cell for IT/CS branches. The fee structure was affordable.

My experience at Wainganga College of Engineering and Management.

Placements: In the computer science and engineering course, more than 50% of students got placed. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. The lowest package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Google, Facebook, Infosys, and Microsoft visit the college to hire students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very impressive and big. It just looks like a Taj hotel. There are various facilities like a Wi-Fi connection, a library, and more than 50 classrooms according to their department. Various facilities are available in the hostel.

Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and encourage every student to participate in each activity. Various programs are organised related to our course like Hackathons, Ideathons, etc. This program helps students in industry.

Other: It is the most trending branch, and a lot of job opportunities are available in this field, so I chose this field.

An average decent experience.

Placements: The percentage of students got placed is good. Although companies that visits our college are startups that offer a basic salary. Companies are quite decent so high packages are not expected. Mostly students from every branch have a chance to get placed.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and attractive. Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are average. Library contains most of the subject-related books. Canteen is good. There are not many options, everything is not available to eat. Stationary is also available so we can get basic things inside the campus only.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and good at knowledge. Their guidance brings 100% best in us. However, management is very poor and needs improvement. Teachers don't usually overlook students' progress, we have to do everything on our own most of the time.

Other: Campus may be small but other activities like cricket, basketball, and volleyball court are available and equipped.

Decent infrastructure, supportive faculty, and the scope for better placements.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college that organizes a mega job fair every year, due to which many students get enrolled in it. Through this medium, one can achieve a job related to their skills and how they present themselves before the company. The highest package can differ from 5 LPA - 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college campus has a hostel, gym, library with several books, and a canteen where hygiene is maintained and is very good. Each floor has Wi-Fi, and with the help of this, we can use it for downloading E-books and other study materials, which can be beneficial to us.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and have deep knowledge about the course. The syllabus is completed according to the academic calendar. The course is relevant and makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are a little bit difficult, but our faculty members put in a lot of effort to make it easy and understandable.

Other: Everything is celebrated on our campus, such as during Navratri, Garba is organized. Ganpati festival is also celebrated.

Students get placed on their skills and how they present themselves before the company.

Infrastructure: The college campus is small, but it has a hostel, gym, and a library with various books. There are two canteens in our college and a canteen where hygiene is maintained and it is good. All branches have personal labs, workshops, and classrooms. The building structure is very good. The campus is small but very effective.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and have deep knowledge about the course. The syllabus is completed according to the academic time. Various other activities are also done in college like guest lectures, etc., which help to build our skills.

Other: Everything is celebrated on our college campus like Ganesh Puja, Navratri when Garba is organised, annual functions, and various events. The college is strict and there is no chance to bunk the class. The campus is small, and when students bunk the class, they easily get caught. The college and faculty members organise programs to encourage and motivate students.
