Wainganga College of Engineering and Management review.
Placements: At Wainganga College of Engineering and Management, around 70 percent - 75 percent of students in engineering courses were placed with the highest package offered approximately 12 LPA the lowest around 2.5-3 LPA and an average package of 3.5-4.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS Infosys Wipro Capgemini and Persistent Systems. About 70-80 percent of students secured internships with companies such as TCS iON Persistent and various startups. The main roles offered were software developer system engineer QA engineer technical support engineer and business development associate.
Infrastructure: College has decent infrastructure for engineering courses, including well-equipped labs for Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, and Civil branches, smart classrooms with projectors, a central library with good reference material, and campus-wide Wi-Fi. There are dedicated computer labs with updated software and internet access for project work. The hostel facilities are average to good, with separate accommodation for boys and girls, basic furnished rooms, 24-hour security, a mess serving vegetarian meals, and common recreation areas. Sports grounds, a gym, and a cafeteria are also available on campus to support students' overall development.
Faculty: Faculty at WCEM is generally experienced and supportive, with a mix of senior professors and young lecturers who guide students in academics and projects. The curriculum follows autonomous guidelines and is updated periodically to include emerging technologies and industry requirements.
