It's a decent college. They give multiple options when it comes to curriculum.
Placements: I am not that sure. I haven't looked into it that much. Don't know the exact percentage of placement. I have seen students get really good internship offers for the course I am studying, so I think it is not on the negative side and has potential.
Infrastructure: It's all alright. I haven't looked into it as much. It is fine, I guess. Hostels are not the best, but they are decent. Some students do complain about the food, but the only thing that troubles them is, as far as I have heard from the students who live in the hostel.
Faculty: The course curriculum is diverse. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams are tough. The senior professors have always the right guidance we have been taken on field trips for on-site knowledge and given opportunities to manage and be creative There is encouragement to participate in various competitions.

One of the best colleges for engineering. So, there are very few negative points to notice.
Placements: The total number of students placed last year from my civil branch was more than 45 percent, as our college is good in placements for civil and mechanical branches, especially. The highest package of our college is 11 Lacs per year, and the average package is between 3 to 4 Lacs per year.
Infrastructure: As our college is one of the oldest colleges in my city, Solapur, the facilities in our college are good enough. It has many labs for experiments as well as for every branch of the college. The canteen is available, but it is pretty good and provides the right kind of yummy snacks.
Faculty: Our college is the first autonomous college in our city, and it is one of the oldest ones in Solapur. The teachers here are fully experienced and qualified too. The teaching quality is pretty good, top-notch, I would say. They have in-semester exams, and the level is also good.
Other: I personally chose the civil course because I want to give government exams in the future, and the college's civil branch is also very good. There are plenty of educational events held.

Satisfied due to the teaching of all lecturers.
Placements: 70–80% of the students were placed. The highest package is INR 7 LPA, the lowest is INR 2 LPA, and the average is INR 4 LPA. Shapoorji & Pallonji was the top recruiting company in WIT, Solapur. Site Engineer, Executive Engineer, and Chief Engineer in the Water Resource Department are the top roles offered. In all, 75% of students got internships from WIT.
Infrastructure: Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur, has well-developed classrooms, canteens, practical laboratories, a library, and Wi-Fi (which no one can access). The canteen provides well-hygienic food for students and maintains quality standards while preparing food at WIT.
Faculty: Lecturers or teachers were well qualified and educated, and they cleared every doubt of the students in an excellent manner. The teaching of the lecturers was convincing, and good concepts were clear because of excellent teaching. Yes, the curriculum is relevant and makes each student industry-ready.

Our college is the best college.
Placements: Around 85% of students were placed in MNCs like TCS, Tata, etc. College places every student in each branch. This year all the students got placed with the highest salary package of 10 LPA and the lowest salary package is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels provide many facilities like high-quality food with good taste and daily changes in menu.
Faculty: Faculty are very good, highly educated with zero percent attitude and arrogance. They make every topic understandable properly. College takes three-semester exams and one university exam. Difficulty level is medium because teachers are doing their best.

Review of Walchand Institute of Technology.
Placements: It is best for computer science students, but not good for civil engineering students because they don't provide any internships or any placements for us.
Infrastructure: Hostels are the best. All facilities are available. There is Wi-Fi for students, but they charge for that. A water cooler is also available.
Faculty: Exams are a little bit tough. Some faculty members are very strict. Some are very understanding. Overall, college is good, but there are some problems, such as the attendance issue.

I am satisfied with faculty, good infrastructure, facilities, and good placements in 2018.
Placements: Nearly 90% of students got placed in the year 2018. The highest salary package offered in the year was 8 LPA by the marketing company. The lowest package salary package offered was 3 LPA. Comparatively the highest salary package for the year 2019 was 16 LPA. Walchand institute is best as per as overall progress is concerned.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in the campus were Wi-Fi, well-equipped civil engineering department, digital library, classrooms are equipped with projectors for PPT based studies. Facilities available in the hostels are a mess, canteen, medical facilities, sports, games, gym, etc. Food available is Jain food.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is the best. The course curriculum is relevant, and this makes students industry-ready. Civil engineering is itself a core branch, and the practical is to be done on-site only.

Overall, the faculty members are experienced, and the exposure provided to field works is great.
Placements: Mostly for branches like civil and mechanical, recruitment isn't great. But considering the intake of only 60 students for the civil, the placement ratio is high. Almost 10% of the students from the civil department got placed. Both private and government companies have visited our college for recruitment. The Indian Navy recruits most of the civil students.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped, and most of the equipment is new. Considering grant from NBA, most of the equipment is updated and modern. The campus is spread over around 26 acres. There are separate buildings for software branches, civil and mechanical departments. Hostel rooms are allotted on a 2-sharing basis, and the rooms have attached washrooms. Food offered in the mess is good.
Faculty: Quality of education is high. Faculty members are experienced. Recently, the college has got a grant from AICTE and NBA. The course curriculum focuses on educating students about subjects and also provides practical knowledge. Regular industrial visits are organised. Overall, the teaching-learning process has both traditional as well as some of the technical ways of teaching.

I'm absolutely dissatisfied because of the output after the completion of the course.
Placements: Placements for my batch and senior batch were below average considering all the streams of engineering available here. Only one company visited the campus to hire the students of the civil engineering department, and the salary package offered was 1.20 LPA. Only two students have accepted the offer, and they also left the company within a year. No company visited the campus for internships, and we were supposed to find one on our own.
Infrastructure: The campus area was huge, and all the basic facilities such as Wi-Fi, and labs with equipment were available. For outdoor sports, we had a huge ground, but for indoor games, there was no open room to play all the time. Gym hardly remained open during my time. The quality of food provided in canteen and hostel was average. New hostel rooms have been constructed now.
Faculty: Teachers in the college were highly qualified, especially the students of the civil engineering stream. Teaching quality was average. The student-faculty ratio was 30:1. The course curriculum was quite outdated, and teaching methods were also not good. We were asked to copy a journal from a book which was senseless as per me.
