Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, good number of students crack a GET exam.
Placements: 90 percent of students are placed in Civil engineering courses. The highest package is 5 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. L&T is the top recruiting company and many more. 10 percent of students got internships from Civil Engineering courses in L&T company.
Infrastructure: In the Civil Engineering department, we have a special building in our college. We have also a special Library for the civil department. Also, Wi-Fi, a survey lab, applied mechanics lab are there. We have a hostel facility. We have a mess, a college library and a basketball court.
Faculty: In our college, teachers are helpful. They are qualified and some are IITans. The teaching quality is very good. Civil Engineering course is curriculum relevant. The semester exams are very difficult, but the passing percentage is nice, it is 60.

I'm satisfied with my college.
Placements: Last year, only 2 students got placements from our branch. Rest of the students do not get placed, as some students are preparing for GATE and MPSC civil engineering exams. But overall placements are negligible. Syllabus is very much good as it includes the latest curriculum.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available, but hostel intake is very low. Most of the students do not get hostel. Wi-Fi is not available but labs are well-equipped. The canteen is also good with good food for the hostellers. Overall, the facilities are good.
Faculty: Professors are always willing to help the students in every activity. The course curriculum was very good. The curriculum makes students technically sound and expert. End semester examinations are also conducted in very well and disciplined manner. Above 8 CGPA is considered as a good CGPA.

Our college is good and students can take admission.
Placements: Around 15% of students of our college get placed. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.6 LPA. L&T and TCS offer placements. Students with good technical knowledge get placed easily. It is a government college that provides placements from many companies. It provides great placements for other branches compared to civil.
Infrastructure: The library in our college has a great collection of books for all students and is easily accessible. Hostel facilities are average and the mess is not good. Infrastructure is good but the hostel imposes restrictions like students can't move on the campus after 10 PM.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified but teaching methodology is not new. The course curriculum can make students industry-ready though depends on the students. Exams conducted are not very tough if students study. Self-study is needed much.

It is an outstanding college in Maharashtra.
Placements: About 60% of total students in our course are placed in government jobs. In civil engineering, most students are placed in government jobs like class 1, and class 2 cadre. Students do not prefer a private job in a civil engineering course.
Infrastructure: This college was established in 1960. The college building is in good condition and well maintained by the government. This is a fully autonomous body. Wi-Fi, lab, classroom, and library are good. Drinking and mess facilities are available in the hostel. Internet and Wi-Fi facilities are available in the hostel. All the facilities are fine.
Faculty: All the faculty members in our course are the most educated, and most of them are Ph.D. holders. All teachers are knowledgeable. They give all the training to the students so they are ready to work on-site. The difficulty of the exam is average. The passing percentage is 40%. Examination results are declared within 1 month. Course curriculum provided by this college is good.
Other: I like the civil engineering branch, that's why I chose it.Annual gathering programme and all events are celebrated.  I headed a role in the prize distribution committee at the annual gathering program.

Review of Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad.
Placements: There are a total of 60-70 students in each class from that about 5 to 10 students get placements from the college. Many students got placed off-campus. The highest salary package of the branch is about 6 LPA. Lodha Group is one company which is present every year and got placement in this company. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA to 5 LPA easily.
Infrastructure: For every branch, there is a separate building, especially the infrastructure is very old but strong than new buildings. In every building there is a water purifier present, and every branch has own labs and Wi-Fi. In every classroom, a projector is present with the digital board. The library for all branches is common and it is very big any books related to that subject you will get there. The government hostel is present on the campus which is only 100 m distance from classrooms. In every hostel, there is mess present. The food quality is not very good but from other messes it is the best. In hostel, every friday, doctor comes to check-up and gives medicines. In college, all types of games are present like kho-kho, kabaddi, basketball, football, volleyball, tabel tennis, badminton, etc. There is a sports week in which college in that week inter-branch competitions are held.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers are helpful if we ask. For every branch students there is a curriculum in which many subjects are included which gives students strength to be industry-ready. Students have to prepare themselves for the semester. Around 40-45 marks are enough to clear the semester in every subject. This is an autonomous college so every student who is present in college will be passed.
Other: I got less marks in MHT CET. Government College of Engineering is one of the oldest colleges and it is autonomous and under government So I opted this college. I wish there would be more on-campus selection. Our course is core branch but nowdays importance civil is decreased. Those students who study well work on projects then all students will get placed. There are many events in college for first-year it is fresher party in which lots of games are played. Campus is surrounded by trees. With government scholarships there is a college scholarship for those students who pass the exam. In extracurricular activities, there is more focus than other subjects to make good students.
