Poor placements and bad infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are average, qualified, and knowledgeable. But we don't understand anything they taught us. Course curriculum is from 1990s, it can even help you land a job in 2025. Semester exams are not that hard, nor that easy, just get 17-18 marks.

Good for graduation only.

Faculty: The faculty of commerce at Zakir Husain Delhi College is good. Professors are good with students. Professors help students with what to do in the future or what not to do in the future, and they ask the students about their goals for the future. Overall, the professors are very polite with the students.

If you don't get into North Campus college, you can consider Zakir Hussain Delhi College.

Faculty: Some teachers were the best Zoology faculty of DU who taught us, but some were new teachers. For Zoology, I won't say they make you industry-ready, but they teach many things which will help in your Master's. For your subject file, you have to make it the old way by hand, and all the diagrams should be well drawn, which is quite tough.

Review of Zakir Husain Delhi College.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, kind, and sweet. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. They never deny help to any student. The course curriculum is relevant. It also makes students industry-ready.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members.

Faculty: Faculty members were very good. I will highly recommend this college for students who genuinely want to focus on their studies. Teachers were very much dedicated towards teaching and explained every difficult topic in a easy way. Especially the Zoology faculty members were so good.

I'd say it needs improvement in almost all the fields.

Faculty: Teachers take their classes when they wish it but when they take them, they take them seriously. The materials have been provided via other colleges and online materials only. Ever since the NEP application, the workload has increased drastically, adding courses that are irrelevant and time-consuming, which is completely diverted from the courses we have selected and tried to focus on. The exams are satisfactory since they are mostly from the PYQ, which helps us prepare better.

The faculty is average, but the infrastructure is below average.

Faculty: Faculty members in the B.Com department are generally qualified and experienced, with many of them holding PhDs or UGC NET qualifications. Most professors have a strong academic background, and some are even involved in research. However, the teaching quality can be mixed. While a few teachers are truly dedicated and make the concepts clear with real-life examples, others tend to stick to textbook teaching and lack interactive engagement. That said, if you attend lectures regularly and take the ...

This college is recommended by me.

Faculty: The faculty in the Political Science Department at Zakir Husain Delhi College is generally well-regarded. Teachers are described as highly qualified, with most holding Ph.D. degrees and excelling in their areas of specialization, such as Political Theory, International Relations, Comparative Politics, and Indian Politics. The Political Science Honours curriculum at Zakir Husain Delhi College is described as relevant and aligned with contemporary needs, particularly for students aiming for career...

Supportive faculty and a solid academic base, but industry skills need extra effort.

Faculty: Exams are based on DU’s semester pattern, internal assessment (10–20 marks), and written exams (80–90 marks). Most questions come from class notes and past year papers. Regular attendance and basic preparation are enough to pass comfortably. I think the passing percentage is around 80–95%. If I talk about teachers, I can say with confidence that they are really good and helpful. Accounts teacher Rizwan Sir is the best, along with Alam Sir. However, some teachers are too strict about attendance, ...

I am dissatisfied with the infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. They are specialized in their respective subjects. This course does not make students industry-ready. Students should have some soft skills, other skills, and knowledge to get a higher package in the future. Semester exams are not very difficult as the papers are made by the university only. The pass percentage in each exam is 40% and the majority of the students clear the exams.

I am not satisfied, but strong literary, cultural activities and infrastructure need work!

Faculty: The English Honours faculty at Zakir Husain College is mostly helpful and qualified. Some teachers are very knowledgeable and engaging, while a few are just sick of notes. The curriculum is interesting and covers important literary texts, but it is not very industry-focused. It helps in building reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. Semester exams are moderate, not too easy or too hard. With regular study, passing is not difficult. The pass percentage is quite high, around 85-90%. Over...

This college is an example of the dark side of Delhi University.

Faculty: Many teachers are not trying harder to improve their lecturing skills and they're just there to waste our time. The only thing they care about is our attendance. There is a lot of bias against some students. Some teachers are very racist toward northeast students.

I wouldn't say I am satisfied but it is workable with what we've been given and we can manage.

Faculty: Teachers are not helpful at all. They don't take regular classes and try to mug everything up during exam times in very little time. They make us work last minute and overburden us with all the tasks instead of giving us the proper times before the exam timing.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty members.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are qualified professors. Their teaching quality is also good. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams at this college are average because all Delhi University exams are the same. 70-80% of students are passing every semester exam.

Affordable course with good faculty, but limited placements and average campus life.

Faculty: Faculty in the commerce department is experienced and supportive. Most professors hold PhDs, and the teaching is theoretical but exam-focused. The curriculum is quite traditional and lacks practical exposure, but it is manageable. Exams are not very difficult for regular students. Around 80–90% of students pass each semester. Some subjects can feel overwhelming due to the length of the syllabus.
