A minimum of 50% marks (or 45% for reserved category candidates) in class 12th is required for eligibility. Hence, candidates who have achieved a 60% score in their Class 12th examinations meet the eligibility criteria for admission to Zeal College of Engineering and Research. Considering the last three years' MHT CET cutoff, Zeal College of Engineering cutoff 2023 for B.E. in Computer Engineering closed at 79.57, while it closed at 84.23 in 2022 and 85.15 in 2021.

For admission into B.Tech, They accept scores from both MH- CET and JEE MAINS. Both exams have different percentiles and difficulty ranking which makes a comparison of the two possible with a quick internet search. For admission you are required to have an obtained scorecard from either of the exams and at least 45% marks in 12th or equivalent schooling

Zeal College of Engineering and Research admission are entirely merit based. The institute follows the University guidelines and the procedures. The college does not offer admission in any of its programme through the management quota. Admissions in all the programmes at Zeal college are offered on the basis of merit and marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying examination. Candidates who want to take admission in any of the programme at ZCOER Pune must have to appear for the entrance examination.

The students who belong to the particular reserved category and are pursuing academic programmes at Zeal College of Engineering and Research can get fee waiver as per the Government norms. ZCOER Pune fee waiver scheme is as follows:  

• Fee waiver for SC, ST, OBC, SBC, NT/ DT-VJ, TFWS category candidates as per Government rules
• Partial fee waiver from Government for the EBC students
