DIT is not a Tier 1 university. It is generally considered a Tier 2 private university. Tier 1 universities are IITs, IIITs, and others. The university is ranked at 83rd position under the Pharmacy category by the NIRF 2025. DIT university has also been ranked at the 21st position by the Week for the year 2025 for B.Arch.

Admission to UPES School of Design for courses such as MDes would require Class 10 and Class 12 qulaification with 50% along with 50% aggregate in graduation. Candidates must secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as UCEED/ UPESDAT. After qualifying the merit based criteria, candidates must appear for portfolio presentation and interview. For final admission, shortlisted candidates must pay the fees and confirm the seat.

Yes! The criteria to get into Dev Bhoomi is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent in any stream from a recognised educational board with a minimum aggregate score of 45% marks with Maths/Bio/ physics as a prime subject, so in that case 70% aggregate in boards is a good grade to get into the institution with a variety of course choices such as BBA/ MBA/ BCA/ MCA  and so on. So here's nothing to get worried about.
