Q:   What is the B Tech course all about?
A:

BTech full form is Bachelor of Technology. BTech courses majorly cover the basic principles & applications of engineering disciplines. The BTech syllabus is designed in such a way so as to help you follow your preferred career path in various engineering fields. The vast domains of BTech courses offer a diverse range of specializations. You can also pursue MTech/M.E/MBA degrees after completing BTech courses. You can even go for short-term Diploma courses in Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking, Red Hat Certified Engineer, Robotics, Nanotechnology, Software Testing etc.

From IT firms, and banks to automobile companies, production houses and research and development initiatives, skilled technical engineers are needed in every work domain and industry.

Q:   How many specializations are available in BTech?
A:

Hi candidate.

BTech is a engineering degree where more than 20 specialisations are offered. CSE and ECE are the most popular among them. Some other popular specializations include BTech in Biotechnology, BTech Mechanical Engineering, BTech Civil Engineering, B Tech Electrical Engineering, BTech Biomedical Engineering, among others.

You can choose the specialization of your choice and then decide accordingly. You need to think about your interest areas and what excites you the most in the technical engineering field. Best of luck!

Q:   Which is the best specialization in BTech?
A:

All engineering streams are equally good. There may be a cyclic variation in demands of streams from year to year. Looking at the current market trends, CSE is definitely a sought-after specialization among students who find it rewarding in terms of  placement and salaries. In the digitalized world that we are living in today, several trends are reshaping the CSE career scope such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber Security, Virtual Reality and Augmneted Reality, etc.

Moreover, apart from the traditional BTech specializations like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, there are other emerging branches that are gaining popularity. These include Robotics Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, among others. It is recommended that you may choose your stream based on your interests and career goals, something that aligns with your passion.
