Established in 2003, Academy of Technology is located in Adisaptagram, Hooghly, West Bengal, is a self-financed undergraduate Engineering college. It is also being located away from the urban bustle providing a great environment for learning. The institute has various department-specific student chapters, including Computer Society of India (CSI), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education), IETE (Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers), and the Indian Concrete Institute (ICI). SSU is relatively new as it came into the picture in 2004 whereas AOT was established in 2003, so AOT is older and much more likely to have a good alumni status among other things. SSU is relatively bigger with about 50 acres of campus compared to AOTs have 10.66 Acres, So SSU is bigger. AOT is relatively slightly cheaper when it comes to BTech by a small margin. So that does also play a role in comparison.

Candidate should not be born after 01.07.2008 and there is no upper age limit.

The phase 1 of IIT Delhi placement drive 2026 is completed. As per reports,  more than 1500 offers were made. In addition, 15 international offers were received during IIT KGP placements 2026. The highest package stood at INR 244 LPA.

NIT - Narula Institute of Technology is an autonomous institute affiliated with MAKAUT. The institute has been ranked #201-300 rank in the Engineering category by NIRF in 2025. BTech is the flagship course of the institute. The admissions to all courses are entrance based. Overall, it is a good institute for students interested in engineering fields.
