Established in 2003, Academy of Technology is located in Adisaptagram, Hooghly, West Bengal, is a self-financed undergraduate Engineering college. It is also being located away from the urban bustle providing a great environment for learning. Candidate appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination are also eligible to apply. Candidate should not be born after 01.07.2008 and there is no upper age limit.

The IIT Kharagpur placements for the year 2026 are still ongoing. The the highest package in 2026 is INR 2.44 Crore per Annum and. 5 offers above INR 2 Crore per Annum and 16 offers between INR 90 LPA and 200 LPA were made in 2026.

The minimum JEE score required varies based on the B.Tech programme and category (General, OBC, SC/ST) for admission to HIT. But generally speaking, to get considered for the majority of popular programmes like Computer Science & Engineering, you'll need a JEE Main score above 60000. Cutoff scores may be higher in specialty disciplines and slightly lower in less competitive programmes.
