B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must be a Permanent resident of Assam. Candidate's minimum age must be 17 years and maximum age 21 years. Maximum age for B.Sc. passed candidate and SC/ST candidate is 22 years and 24 years respectively.

No, the eligibility criteria for the dual degree BTech courses at IIT Guwahati remains the same as regular BTech courses.

Candidates need to clear Class 12 board exams with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects to be eligible for the aforementioned dual degree courses.

Dibrugarh University accepts the exam scores of two entance exams for admitting students to its BTech programmes. These exams are JEE (Main) and Assam CEE (Engineering). A candidate with a valid score in any one of the two mentioned exam is eligible for admission to the BTech programmes of Dibrugarh University. However, candidates applying with Assam CEE scores must have the permanent residence certificate of Assam.
