The main qualifying requirements for candidates to sit in the NTA JEE test are as follows:

There are no minimum or maximum percentage requirements to take JEE Main. To get admitted to NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs, candidates must have 75% in class 12 in addition to a valid JEE Main rank.  
The candidate must have passed class 12.
For Paper 1 (BTech), candidates must have Math and Physics as required subjects in class 12.
Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in class 12 for Paper 2A (BArch), and Mathematics in class 12 for Paper 2B (BPlan).

Aspirants must complete Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies with at least 50% aggregate to apply for BTech at SRM University Sonepat.

Generally, the BTech courses offered by GITAM have a duration of 4 years minimum. However, candidates who manage secure admissions into the lateral entry admissions directly into the 2nd year have a duration of 3 years. Students can choose any specialisation according to their intrests. The final cut off will be released according to the seat intake and applications. Different departments of BTech will have different cut offs.
