Engineering Colleges accepting JEE Main for B.Tech in Kalyani

Kalyani Government Engineering College's average salary package is not given on the official website. Hence, the comparison is not possible between JIS University and Kalyani Government Engineering College basis the average salary for B.E. / B.Tech students. However, as per the Shiksha verified review rating, the Kalyani Government Engineering College is rated 4.1/5 and JIS University is rated 4.2/5. JIS University's rating is good compared with other college. Still one can't say which is better as this is the overall rating and not the course-specific one. The application fees for JEE Main is written below

• INR 1,000 for Male unreserved, OBC, EWS category candidates

The B.Tech in civil engineering at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Bombay is equally good. 1. Raking: In the 2022 rankings, IIT Kharagpur is ranked fifth, while IIT Bombay is ranked third by NIRF. 2. Fees: Both institutions charge about Rs. 8 Lacs as their course fee for B.Tech CE. However, the hostel fee at IIT Bombay is 2.8 Lacs, compared to 1.32 Lacs at IIT Kharagpur. 3. Facilities: Both universities have amazing facilities. The hostel and campus at IIT Bombay are better and more student-friendly than those at IIT Kharagpur. 4. Popularity: The CE branch of IIT K is more popular than IIT B. 5. Placement: The placement rate at IIT-K is better than that at IIT-B for civil engineering. Almost 95 percent of CE graduates were placed at IIT-K in previous batches. The IIT-B placement rate for the CE branch was close to 85%. Therefore, from a placement perspective, IIT Kharagpur is better than IIT Bombay.

IIEST Shibpur BTech cutoff 2026 for the Aerospace Engineering specialisations in round 1 was 31402 for the General AI category. In 2025 and 2024, the first round cutoff was 27707 and 28523, respectively. This difference in the ranks says that the competition has been fluctuating over the past 3 years for this category.
