Students who want to get into HIT must clear the eligibility criteri aset by the institute for B.Tech i.e. must have passed 10+2 from a recognised university, must secure a valid score at JEE Mains and clear the cutoff. For admissions to BTech course at Techno India University, the university considers scores from diff. entrance exams. Acceptable scores of JEE Mains/ WBJEE are considered for UG engineering exams. Also, aspiring students can appear for TNJEE (Techno India National Joint Entrance Exam), as it is a university's-in-house entrance test and as a possible pathway to securing an admissions.
