The total tuition fees for BTech is INR 4.6 lakh and INR 11.9 lakh at Amity University Kolkata. Candidates need to pay course fees to confirm their seat in the university. The fee range includes the fees for BTech specialisations.

Heritage Institute of Technology offers a Full Time BE/BTech programme that lasts 4 years. It is available in 21 specializations. Students can apply for B.Tech at HIT provided they clear the selection process. The total number of seats alloted for B.Tech programme is 1140 and it is distributed into all the specilizations. Students who want to get into HIT must clear the eligibility criteri aset by the institute for B.Tech i.e. must have passed 10+2 from a recognised university, must secure a valid score at JEE Mains and clear the cutoff. Once the qualify candidates are shortlisted they are called for counselling and based oon their ranking the seats are alloted to them.

WBJEE 2026 application form correction facility dates have not been announced yet. The registered candidates will be able to access the WBJEE application form 2026 correction facility online at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. During the correction process, the candidates will be able to edit/correct some of the details that have been previously submitted in the application form. After the final date, the authorities will not accept any requests for corrections in the WBJEE application form.

For admissions to BTech course at Techno India University, the university considers scores from diff. entrance exams. Acceptable scores of JEE Mains/ WBJEE are considered for UG engineering exams. Also, aspiring students can appear for TNJEE (Techno India National Joint Entrance Exam), as it is a university's-in-house entrance test and as a possible pathway to securing an admissions. 

Institute of Engineering and Management and HIT - Haldia Institute of Technology both are renowned universities for B.E. / B.Tech. However, in terms of affordability, Institute of Engineering and Management is a better option since the total tuition fee for Institute of Engineering and Management is INR 417,400 and the total tuition fee for B.E. / B.Tech at HIT - Haldia Institute of Technology is INR 279,050 - INR 426,700. In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.

Both IIT Kharagpur and IIT Bombay are among the top institutes to pursue a B.Tech. In computer Science and engineering. Here is a small comparison: 1. The cutoff for IIT B was 63, which was higher than the closing rank of 283 for IIT K. 5. Placement: The placement rate at IIT-B is better than that at IIT-K. Almost 99 percent of CSE graduates were placed at IIT-B in previous batches. IIT-B had the highest placement salary package of any IIT at INR 22.7 LPA (domestic). Therefore, from a placement perspective, the student prefers IIT Bombay over IIT Kharagpur.

NIT Durgapur was ranked at 44 under the 'Engineering' category by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2024 rankings. BTech is the flagship programme of NIT Durgapur, admission to which is based on JEE Main score. Once BTech is completed, students get to participate in the placement drive. The 2024 placement session concluded with 72.08% of the BTech batch placed. A total of 568 job offers were given to BTech students. NIT Durgapur average package for BTech stood at INR 7.35 LPA and the highest package offered was INR 51 LPA.
