The university conducted SOET for all the UG and PG courses in the field of Agriculture, Horticulture and Pharmacy courses offered by it. For all the remaining courses, the university conducts online counselling based on past academic merit. 

Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including  BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. From the academic session 2022, all the central universities along with a few state-deemed universities and private universities started accepting CUET scores for admission to their UG and PG courses. 

The BHU offers good placements across all its courses with median package hovering around INR 8 LPA - INR 16 LPA for UG courses. The aforementioned placement data has been obtained from the NIRF report on BHU as the institute is yet to reveal its placement data. The application fee is required to be paid after filling the form. otherwise the form will not be accepted by the authorities. This year updated fees will be mentioned in UPCATET 2026 notification but according to previous year details, male candidates from General & OBC category have to pay INR 1350 while all other male & female candidates have to pay INR 1100 application fees. 

The application fees need to be paid online via Debit card, Credit card, Net banking etc. Once the fee is paid students are required to download the receipt of fees as some time due to any error if their candidature is rejected then they can raise their concern along with payment proof.
