Q:   What is JMP at IIT Kharagpur?

IIT Kharagpur offers a joint MTech/ MCP PhD programme to students who have completed their UG degree in the relevant stream. Under this programme, at the end of the first year, interested students with a CGPA of 8.0 and above are eligible to appear for a written test and/or interview to check their suitability to enrol for PhD. Those who do not qualify for PhD can continue with their two-year MTech/MCP programme. Students selected for PhD will have to complete the two-year academic requirements of MTech/ MCP programme before enrolment for PhD. For these students, the MTech/MCP and PhD degrees will be awarded together upon successful completion of PhD. The programme is open to students of all categories with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ MSc or equivalent professional degrees (AMIE, etc.) with a valid GATE score.

Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including  BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. Unfortunately, no. Students cannot join Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University directly without any entrance exam. Take a look at this:

- Candidates seeking admissions to all UG and PG programmes (except B.Tech. (Agril Engg.) and MBA) will have to appear in the Entrance Test (ET) for B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 4 years, B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science 4-year Programme and B.F.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons.) Agribusiness Management, Agriculture Aptitude Test (AAT) for B.Sc. (Hons.) 6-year Programme and Common Entrance Test for M.Sc. & PhD.

- For admission to MBA (Gen.)/MBA (Agri-Business Management)/Master in Rural Management, the seats will be filled up firstly through a CAT percentile score of 50 or above, after that the seats will be filled up through CMAT percentile score of 50 or above. The rest of the seats will be filled up with less than 50 percentile scores on the combined merit of CAT/CMAT. In case of a tie of scores, the CAT score will be given preference. Thereafter, on the remaining vacant seats, if any, on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. 

- For admissions to B.Tech. (Agril. Engg.) the instructions of the Haryana State Technical Education Society will be applicable.

Q:   What are the cutoff marks for OUAT?
A: 

Following the announcement of the results, the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) cutoff marks are made public on the university's official website. For PG admission, the general category's minimum aggregate score is 50%, while the SC/ST/PwD category's minimum is 45%. On August 21, 2023, the OUAT UG admissions process for students supported by the State Government got underway. On August 18, 2023, the results were released along with the OUAT 2023 cutoff for postgraduate courses. Following the results announcement, the OUAT 2023 cutoff for admission to different programs will be made public. 

Q:   Can I get direct admission in Anand Agricultural University?

No, you can't get direct admission in AAU. You can get admission through the Entrance exam and Board Percentage merit.
