The minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years as on the date of notification (Candidates whose date of Birth up to 30th MARCH, 2003). No maximum age limit.
M.E./M.Tech	Candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech. /AMIE in CSE/ CSIT/ Electronics & Computers Engg. /IT & Computer Science and Systems Engineering or equivalent from a UGC recognised University/ Institute. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates over TS PGECET qualified candidates. Candidate must have secured 50% marks in group subjects taken together in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category).
After 10th Diploma	Candidates must have passed 10th examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or from any other recognised board in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination. Candidate must have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2023, and whose results are yet to be declared are also eligible.

To apply for B.E. or B.Tech at Brilliant Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET), you need to pass 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Then you must appear for the TS EAMCET entrance exam conducted by the Telangana government. After the results, you have to attend the counseling and choose BIET based on your rank. If you don't go through TS EAMCET, you can also get admission through the management quota by directly contacting the college. For Diploma holders, lateral entry is possible through the TS ECET exam. The college also helps with the admission process if you visit the campus directly.
