The Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology is a private institute in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The institute is recognised by the UGC and as a Centre of Excellence (CoE) by the Government of Gujarat. According to the NIRF Ranking 2025, the institute has been awarded #201-300 rank in the Engineering category. The highest and average package offered during BTech placements 2026 was INR 57 LPA and INR 14.36 LPA. For PG courses (MTech / MSc / MDes), the highest and average package recorded in 2026 was INR 21.89 LPA and INR 7.57 LPA. Overall, it is a really good institute in terms of recognitions & rankings.

IIIT Vadodra is falls under Tier 2 college. Though it has "Institute of National Importance" status, it falls behind the top IIITs like IIIT Delhi oe IIIT Hydrabad. Even after being a Tier 2 college, it offers great faculty, placement opportunities, infrastructure, etc.

According to the yearly cutoff trends, an OBC student seeking admission to Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) Surat's Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch must get a certain number of JEE Main points. To get a place in CSE under the other state quota, an OBC student normally needs to score in the 94–96 JEE Main percentile or better. Approximately 150 to 180 marks would be earned for this, depending on how difficult the test was. Home-state candidates may have somewhat lower cutoffs. It is essential to keep a high rank because CSE is one of the most sought-after branches.

The Nirma University Ahmedabad cutoff depends on National or State-level exam scores. To receive admission at Nirma University Gota students must appear for exams such as JEE Main,  CAT and GUJCET,  etc.. Students who meet the initial cutoff of these exams must also appear for the Personal Interview or Group Discussion rounds for final seat distribution.

The Marwadi University and Atmiya University are both relatively new universities founded in 2008 and 2018 respectively. As compared to MU, AU is very new, hence it is still needs to be developed.

Both the universities offer students a wide range of courses with experienced faculty.

Comparing placement stats, MU has a placed 850+ students over 400+ companies with a the highest package being INR 22 LPA and median package being INR 4.5 LPA. More than 45 students got a package more than INR 5 LPA.

Whereas in AU, the highest package was INR 9.45 LPA and median package is INR 3.5 LPA. More than 300 companies visited the university.

So, MU has a better placement record than AU. Thus, we can say Marwadi University is better than Atmiya University. 

 

Yes, Parul University Vadodara is considered to be on a moderately expensive side for most courses. While the lowest fee for a degree course stands at INR 32,000 (for MLib.Sc), the highest fee is INR 30.4 lakh (for BAMS) indicating a big difference in the fee range. Being a private university, the fee for various courses can be a little high. But students can apply for scholarships/ financial assistance which could reduce the fee to an extent, making courses somewhat affordable.  Further, students get global exposure, experience top-class infra & curriculum. The overall highest package was INR 60 LPA. Based on these parameters, the fees seems justifiable.
