Suitable college for the students who wants to be in the hospitality industry.
Placements: According to the educational qualification basis the hospitality industry professionals hire the students. The company are Hayat, Taj, ITC, oberoi, KFC, Indigo, Spice jet, IHG. Different people from tourism companies also come for campusing. Students are provided good facility for this.
Infrastructure: Good teaching style, experienced hoteliers, advance lab and classes. Foreign campusing for the students, good library with sufficient of books and magazine with daily newspaper previous year question papers. Hostel food is okay. Rooms are good and very spacious.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful to the students. Good kitchen staffs. Good security system. Laboratories are spacious and handled by experienced personnel. Students are having good times with each other.

A decent hotel management college in Chennai.
Placements: The placements aren't that good. We didn't get what we were promised, but still, the college does make an effort to place us in good hotels. They are too slow in that. A few seniors have been placed in really good hotels, and there are a few who couldn't get placed. Overall, it depends on your capability to get placed.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi, the classroom benches are pretty uncomfortable, the labs are decent
They do have good medicals facilities as there's a hospital on the campus. We get good food in the main canteen in the campus.
The hostel is decent to stay
The campus is huge, and it has a nice atmosphere.
Faculty: The teachers are good, helpful, and they seem to be well-qualified and knowledgeable.
They sometimes use PowerPoint presentations to make us understand better.
The course seems to be valuable, and we do get the industry exposure. They get a lot of work done by us students.

One of the best IHMs in Chennai.
Placements: Taj Hotel Groups, Intercontinental Hotel Groups, The Park, Le Royal Meridian, Ramada Plaza, Dominos, McDonald's, Trident, Hyatt, Turyaa Chennai, Tovo restaurants, Park Hyatt, Hilton, Raintree, and ITC Fortune, are the brands coming for the interviews.
Infrastructure: The college has facilities like classrooms, library, kitchen, front office, restaurant, housekeeping lab, etc., are the best to take admission in Hotel Management College, Chennai. It is the second best college in Chennai next to Institute of Hotel Management Taramani. SRM Institute of Hotel Management is the best.
Faculty: The college has experienced teachers. The classes conducting are of more practicals. There are also facilities like more cycle tests, kitchen practical lab available, food and beverage service by them. The restaurant is available for the practical class, and front office lab is available for the practical class. Housekeeping lab and different rooms are available for the practical class.
Other: The freshers day, Pongal celebration, Onam celebration, Theme lunch for final years, IV visit to a wine factory are there in this college.

The college has the good placements, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: Our college has the good placements. The maximum 5-star hotels like chain groups are visiting the campus for the placements, for example, Trident, ITC, Fortune, Novotel, and all major hotels are taking part in the placements. In every department, they are selecting the students. Only for the chefs they are asking for a food trail. The maximum salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month, and the minimum is Rs. 8,000 per month. Around, 80% of the students offered the jobs.
Infrastructure: The college has no Wi-Fi facility. All the labs are good and well-maintained. The classrooms are average, and the facilities are better not the best. There are no sports, no games, but the medical records are good. The canteen food is good, which is made by the senior chef's, and the hotels are separate. The college has the hostel facility, which is better. I didn't face any infrastructure related issues.
Faculty: The faculty members are good, helpful, and knowledgeable, and they are senior most faculty. The teaching skills are good. We have the SRM hotel near so it is helpful in the industry exposure. The course curriculum is useful. The ratio of students to faculty is 20:1. Our college organises two fests and many extracurricular activities to the students. There are many other branch students in the university.

It performs way better than any other college in place of standards and working.
Placements: Around 70% of students were attending the on-campus interview, and were getting selected and different criteria. High-standard organisations come to our college for placements. Most final year students were encouraged to join different companies with high value of salary.
Infrastructure: It provides with high standard infrastructure our college gives a good performance to the students in every manner possible. SRMIHM lacks nothing in terms of their infrastructure and facilities, students were given a high possibility of workspace with modern way of connecting to the course.
Faculty: Every faculty member was dignified and they all perform very well with students in terms of studies, and they get along with students in a way students want to attain class. The course may seem hard but the even flow of semesters taking place was better.

SRM Institute of Hotel Management, Chennai offers BSc (3 years) in Hotel & Catering Management. The eligibility criteria for this program is 12th pass. Hence, on the basis of Engineering Diploma you are not eligible for this program.
