Yes, one can get direct admissions at St Xavier's College Mumbai through either their Management quota which usually covers 15% of available seats or through the special reservation for Christian Minority students which covers 50% of the remaining 85% seats. For the Christian Minority reservations must submit documentation such as a Baptism certificate.

Mithibai College MA Psychology is a two-year postgraduate-level course offered in a full-time mode. To be eligible for the MA in Psychology course, candidaates must have Bachelor's Degree with Psychology from University of Mumbai with Psychology (Minimum 3 papers of 300 Marks). As for the B.A. with Psychology from other university (Minimum 3 papers of 300 Marks) at their V and VI Semester are eligible to apply for the programme.

No, the university does not conduct or accept any entrance exam for MA admission. Candidates seeking admission are only required to submit the pre-enrollment form along with the application form to get admission. However, for a few MA courses, the University/ MU-affiliated college conducts a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) after the written test. The average and median packages offered during IIT Bombay placements 2024 stood at INR 23.5 LPA and INR 17.92 LPA, respectively. The overall placement rate recorded during IIT Bombay placements 2024 was 74.53% with 1,475 students participating in the process out of 1,979 students.
