AMU MA is a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. Candidates who have scored at least 50% in Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline are eligible to pursue MA at the university. Hence, a candidate scoring less that 50% in their graduation degree is not eligible to apply for the programme. Such candidates can pursue MA at some other college or university. BHU placements are good. The highest and average packages secured by MBA students in 2025 were INR 19.8 LPA and INR 10.1 LPA, respectively. Median salary stood at INR 9.2 LPA. The university has not yet released the placement data 2026 for other courses. During the placement drive 2025, a total of 177 placement drives were held, and more than 950 students were placed.

Lucknow University admissions are conducted on the basis of entrance exam scores and the merit of the student. It accepts entrance scores such as CUET, CUET-PG, and JEE Main. For PG courses, MJPRU conducts the MJPRU entrance exam. Apart from that for courses such as BPharm, BTech, MBA, MCA, etc., the university accepts valid scores of JEE Main, CUET UG & CUET PG entrance exams. Further, for other UG courses, admissions are entirely based on the merit obtained in the previous qualifying exam.

Yes, UPRTOU Allahabad offers an MA (Master of Arts) course in distance mode. The course can be completed in two years or at maximum in four years. MA programme is of semester pattern. This course can be pursued at Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University in various specialisations. Aspirants with a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university are eligible to apply for MA programme.
