Find out how holding an MCA degree helped Diksha Deo achieve success in her career.

Mystory@Diksha Deo

Programming is my passion and I have used this skill of mine in my initial years by participating in coding championship and other activities. I spent most of my time exploring new things rather following old legacy. People called me “little encyclopedia”. Those days were amazing when I learnt to live life without friends and books occupied most of my time.

I really like what I do and thus, I always remain happy. I have never experienced hostel life as I always lived with my parents. They always supported me and I can say that whatever I am today is because of my parents and teachers.

I have participated in innovation research writing along with getting a couple of transcripts published in IEEE as well. College education, I would say, helps but not as much as life experiences do. My college teachers were always supportive and conducted few webinars for the students. Nevertheless, if the students wanted to learn something more, they had to research and learn on their own.

Since childhood, I have always wanted to get into the computer industry as it is my passion and technology runs in my blood. As far as my career is concerned, I am quite happy and satisfied. In short, I am passionate about my dream, my goal and my love for coding. Programming is a tool through which I can conquer anything, beyond our imagination.

Yes, I regret one thing. I started my freelancing career in my tenth grade. I wanted to set up my own company somewhere around 2006, but because of society and other pressures, I couldn't.

Your passion always defines you. No external force can impact you until you want it to. I strongly believe that one should have faith and confidence in them first and then look towards the society. Never look for acceptance as this is a myth. Value yourself first. The one thing I learnt from my professor was never ever to lose hope. Stay strong and fight for your passion.
