Review of Backstage Pass Institute of Gaming and Technology.
Placements: The class strength is still mediocre. If you want a good AME developer course, then there are better options. If you get into this college, I suggest not to depend or expect anything from the college. I haven't seen any senior who got good placements from this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not even close to what they advertise on their website. They don't have a library, gaming room, etc., which they wrote about on their website. Hostel food quality is average, and the quantity is also very low.
Faculty: The only good thing is teachers are somewhat qualified for teaching, and you can learn. The course is not useful, but students have to pay attention and put in extra effort to succeed in the industry. Semester examinations are easy, but there can be some tough questions.
Other: I want to be a game developer, and I like coding and gaming, so I have chosen this course.

Our college is the future of gaming and game development in India.
Placements: Top roles offered are game developer, game level designer. game art and dynamics. Students are also offered virtual reality and augmented reality, web development, game programmer, game tester, and many more. You can freelance as students take an incurious interest in freelancing.
Infrastructure: Hostel has good infrastructure and I'm quite satisfied with the facilities available. Wi-Fi is available ( 100 Mbps ). Food served is decent, with non-vegetarian food available twice a week, and the hostel is within walkable distance from the college.
Faculty: For those students, who study on a daily and schedule timetable exams are not tough to crack. Exams are divided into two types, internal examination, and external examination, depending upon the preferred course you've chosen. Assignments are given to students in every 3 weeks.
Other: I chose this course because, since I was 4 years old I played PC games, I was always passionate about video games and their mechanism and the way how it is made. The best thing about this course is that if you're passionate about gaming or building a game is this the best course you would find in India, not only for CSGD only Game Art and Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality has the same level of scope compared to CSGD. Honestly, I'm just a Fresher in my college, I haven't found any problem or difficulty regarding our course. Twice a year, events, fests, and extracurricular activities take place.

Good college but no satisfaction with the infrastructure and facilities provided by them
Placements: Ubisoft, EA Sports, Roach Interactive, Sony, Google, Wipro Glu, Clemantis and some other companies visit and offer internships.for internships, the stipend will be 30,000 to 35,000 and for the job, it is 90,000 to 95,000. The salary also depends on your skills and company. It is easy when you complete your 2nd year to make games and show them to other companies and also, you can represent your game in the game development conference where there is a chance of winning. If you win in that, then automatically, you will be hired by many companies.
Infrastructure: For each and every batch, there is a classroom as well as a lab. It is a Wi-Fi enabled campus with fully air-conditioned rooms. There is a hostel for this college and the food is not so good but we can adjust. Hostel rooms are quite big with 4 members in a room. The total infrastructure of college is only one floor and that is it.
Faculty: For normal subjects, there are faculty members but for the gaming subjects, the faculty members come from the companies and teach us. The faculty team is very good and there is no doubt in asking questions. Gaming faculty members will help you in many ways to make games and if they like your work, they may hire you.

Good faculty and good infrastructure.
Placements: About 50% of the college is in the computer science field. About the packages, it's around 7 LPA minimum, and there is an international placement for I think 1 Crore. The top recruiting companies for my course would be Zynga and Ubisoft. I’d say it is more than 50%, and it is in companies like Zynga and Rockstar Games. The top role would be the Managing Director.
Infrastructure: The new place in HITEC City is really much better than the one in Madhapur. The college looks amazing from the outside, just like a software complex. Everything in the new place looks good, from the floors to the ceiling looks amazing, many restaurants nearby to much at. I am not from the hostel, but judging from the opinion of my friends its moderate, the rooms are big with many beds and together.
Faculty: The teaching is not an issue, it's like any other college. All of them are knowledgeable and qualified, some of them do show us practical usage of what they teach, which also helps in understanding the topic or modelling subject rather than just write learning it. The curriculum is decent, as compared to other colleges. This college has an ample number of subjects and good faculty, too. These subjects are undoubtedly industry-ready. The semester exams are fairly easy, and I would say it's a 90% pass rate.
Other: I chose this course because I didn't want to go into engineering. This course is very easy and gives you a lot of freedom. As of now, nothing needs changing as the staff is good at what they do. There are plenty of events, game jams, etc., that happen in the college campus, and there is even the IGDC, which happens in another state, which also helps in making connections and bonding with top game makers.

This is my experience at Backstage Pass College.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in the college is good and it is 90%. The highest CTC offered was Rs 35 lakhs per annum and the average package offered was Rs 4 Lacs per annum. 82% of the students got internships in the companies such as Techni Colr, Gameroz, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostel they provide is outside rooms it will not much adjustable so we can adjust if want to be Better be outside hostels but it is more expensive and food also average so please take a separate room or be in PG hostel it is better than this hostel.
Faculty: The faculty is good at the college. You can easily pass the exams as they are easy. The pass percentage is 92% and the curriculum makes the students' industry ready.

If your career choice is game development then you must opt for this course.
Placements: 1.60% of the students got placed. 2.4 LPA is the average package offered. 3. Recruiting companies are Purple Talk, Gameshastra, Gameloft, EA games and the college has its own games. 4. 60% of the students got internships if they have good knowledge about C+.
Infrastructure: 1. Facilities are not upto the fees which we are paying. 2. They do not provide good hostel facility, food is very unhygienic. We used to order from Swiggy all the time. 3. They change hostels every year. 4. There are no sports facilities available. 5. There is no canteen available, we used to go outside to eat.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Some teachers are good and some are average. Maths teacher is also excellent with proper knowledge.
Other: There will be an IGDC, a game developer conference, in which you can make a huge network with the game developers.

Hello, Yes, you have to prefer science over any other stream. Also in science, you have to prefer mathematics over biology because the minimum eligibility of BTEC requires maths as a subject. Hope this might help you.

You can try through management seat but management quota admission and fee cost is not advertised openly by any of the colleges/universities across India as being a paid seat it totally depends on the discretion of the college authorities.
