Galgotias University does not follow a fixed JEE Main cutoff system like JoSAA or CSAB colleges. Your JEE Main score may be considered during admission, along with eligibility criteria and the availability of seats. Even if your score is not very high, it is still a good idea to contact the admissions team and check the options available to you.

With a 9.82 CGPA and a 78.55 percentile in JEE Main, I'd say you have a decent chance of getting into several good private universities. If I were in your place, I'd look at options like LPU, VIT, SRM, KIIT, UPES, and Bennett University. All of these have good engineering programs, though the admission process may vary. If placements, campus life, and overall exposure matter to you, these universities are definitely worth checking out. Just compare the branch you want, fees, scholarships, and placement records before making a final decision.
