hi,

No—if you scored 44 when the cutoff is 45 in JEE Main, you would not qualify for JEE Advanced. Without qualifying JEE Advanced, admission to Indian Institute of Technology Madras is not possible, since IITs admit students only through that route.

However, you still have good alternatives. Lovely Professional University offers B.Tech programs with modern infrastructure, industry-aligned curriculum, and scholarships through LPUNEST or JEE scores. LPU focuses on placements, internships, and emerging fields like AI and data science. Many students build strong careers from such private universities even without IIT admission.

hi,

With 72 percentile in JEE Main, getting top National Institutes of Technology or IIITs is unlikely in the general category. However, you can still get seats in some state government colleges, lower-ranked GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes), or through state counselling (like REAP, WBJEE, MHT CET, etc.) depending on your domicile. Private engineering colleges are also a strong option.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a well-known private university offering B.Tech programs with modern labs, industry collaborations, and strong placement support. Admission is possible through LPUNEST or JEE scores, and scholarships ar

hi,

With an 82.121 percentile in JEE Main, getting admission into National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli is highly unlikely through general category quotas, as its cutoffs are usually much higher (often above 98–99 percentile). Even with home state or reserved categories, chances remain very slim.

However, you still have good options. Universities like Lovely Professional University offer quality engineering programs, modern infrastructure, and scholarships based on entrance tests like LPUNEST. LPU is known for industry exposure, placements, and diverse courses, making it a solid alternative if top NITs aren't feasible.

No, JEE Main is not required to take admission in BTech at NMAM Institute of Technology, NITTE University. The college accepts NUCAT scores for BTech admissions. NUCAT is conducted by the institute itself. It has MCQ type questions with no negative marking.

hi,

Admission to Indian Institute of Technology Madras for B.Tech requires qualifying JEE Advanced, and a 65.5 percentile in JEE Main is generally not enough to qualify for JEE Advanced in the General category. Even with excellent 98% marks in intermediate, IIT admissions mainly depend on JEE performance. However, you still have good opportunities in reputed private universities and other engineering institutes. LPU is one such option known for its strong CSE program, modern labs, industry-focused curriculum, and specializations in AI, Data Science, Cyber Security, and Cloud Computing. The university also offers scholarships based on bo

hi,

With a 98.5 percentile in JEE Main, you have a strong chance of getting into good NITs, but admission to National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli depends on your category, home state quota, branch preference, and yearly cutoff trends. For highly competitive branches like CSE at NIT Trichy, the cutoff is usually very high, especially for General category students. You may still have chances in other branches or categories through JoSAA counselling. Along with NITs, many students also consider LPU for CSE because of its strong placement opportunities, industry-oriented curriculum, AI and Data Science specializations, coding cu

hi,

As of my experience at LPU,  Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is considered one of the best engineering branches because of strong placements, industry collaborations, modern labs, and specializations like AI, Cyber Security, Data Science, Cloud Computing, and Machine Learning. Many students also prefer ECE, Robotics, and Aerospace Engineering for emerging career opportunities. LPU has experienced faculty members with strong academic and research backgrounds across departments. The CSE faculty is especially known for industry-oriented teaching, research publications, coding culture, and practical exposure through projects
