Things to Check Before the SLAT Exam Day

Before appearing for the exam, candidates should check for the following things at least 2-3 days before the exam,

  • Download the admit card and get coloured printouts for the exam day. The admit card in black and white printout won't be accepted. 
  • In case there is an error on the admit card, report it to the exam authority to get it rectified or get an acknowledgement slip regarding the discrepancy.

Q:   Can I get direct admission at SLS Pune?
A:

SLS Pune offers admission to UG, PG and PhD programmes based on entrance exam scores of the candidates. SIU conducts SLAT and AIAT for admission to integrated Law and LLB/ LLM courses. Those who pass the test are further called for a personal interaction round. Besides, aspirants can get admission in Diploma programme directly based on their merit in the qualifying exam.

Q:   What is the selection criteria for SIU Pune admissions?

Q:   Does Symbiosis International Pune require CUET?
A:

Symbiosis International Pune doesn't required CUET for admission. The deemd to be  uiversity conducts its own entrance exams  for admission to its UG and PG programme. However, its also accepts national level entrance exams such as JEE Main, MH CET, NEET, SLAT, etc. Additionally, candidates must aslo qualify the eligbility criteria, which are as follows:

Candidates should report at least an hour before the commencement of the exam. This is important because the exam officials will check the admit card and, check online exam requirements before the exam begins. This may take time. Thus, they need to manage reporting to the centres according to the exam timings mentioned below,

Instructions for Taking the Exam 

During the SLAT exam, candidates will need to follow the instructions mentioned below,

  • Login on Time- Arrive at the test center early to complete check-in procedures and log in at the specified time to avoid any delays.
  • Read Instructions Carefully- Before starting the exam, carefully read all on-screen instructions. Read and understand the guidelines regarding answering the questions.
  • Use of Permitted Items Only- Only items such as a pen, pencil, and paper for rough work (if allowed) should be used during the exam. Candidates will not be allowed to use the calculators, mobile phones, or any electronic gadget.
  • While Answering Questions, candidates should keep track of the time taken for each answer. They will also have the option to mark the questions for review if unsure about it. 
  • Time Management- Keep an eye on the timer displayed on the screen. 
  • Technical Issues- In case of any technical issues, immediately inform the invigilator without attempting to fix the problem yourself.
  • Avoid Malpractice- Do not engage in any form of cheating or malpractice. 
  • Submission- Once you have completed the exam, review your answers if time allows. 
  • Stay Calm- Stay calm and focused throughout the exam. 
  • Post-Exam Protocol- After submitting your exam, follow the instructions provided by the invigilator before leaving the test center.

Ending the Exam

After completing the exam, candidates have to exit the exam halll peacefully. Make sure to take all your important documents, such as Aadhaar Card/Passport/Voter ID and admit card and your important belongings. 

Q:   Can I get direct admission at Symbiosis Law School, Symbiosis International, Nagpur?
A:

Symbiosis Law School admits students based on entrance exam scores. SLAT, also known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT), is a common entrance exam for admission to SLS Nagpur. SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) is conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), which is commonly referred to as SIU. 

Q:   What to do if I forgot my SLAT login details?
A:

In such cases, you have to visit set-test.org and click on the Forgot Password option. Provide your email address and get a confirmation email to reset your password. 

Q:   How hard is it to pursue BA LLB in SLS Nagpur?
A:

In order to qualify for SLS Nagpur BA LLB, candidates must participate in and qualify the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT). The SLAT test is held by Symbiosis International to admit students to various Law courses at its branches across India.

After determining their eligibility for SLAT and applying for the test, the student must clear the exam based on the respective cutoff released for their SLS of choice. Thereafter, they will be required to appear for a Personal Interaction (PI) session, which would carry a weightage of 30% in the admission process. The SLAT test carries a weightage of 70%.

Items to Carry to the SLAT Exam Centre

Candidates should carry the following items to the SLAT exam hall: 

  • Admit card
  • Photo ID proof (Aadhar Card/Voter ID/Passport)
  • 2 blue ball point pen
  • 2 black ball point pen 
  • Water in a transparent bottle
