This is the time to wrap up final revisions for the exam. Last week preparation tips for IIFT 2015.

Below, we have listed a few mistakes a candidate must avoid in IIFT 2015 exam:

1. Speed and Accuracy

2. Time management

Managing time in the exam plays a major role in deciding your marks. Time management includes the period to be devoted to a question and the number of questions to be answered in a particular section. You must give equal time to all the sections. A well planned exam strategy might work in managing your time effectively. Optimising the use of time in exam increases the chances to scoring well.

3. Documents

Do not forget your admit card and photo ID on the exam day. Only on the basis of these documents you will be allowed to appear for the exam. Better pack your things a night before the exam.
Passport, Election I-Card, College I-Card, Driving License or PAN Card is accepted as photo ID at the test centre.

4. Sectional Cutoffs

IIFT never reveals its cutoffs. No one is sure if there are sectional cutoffs or not. But you cannot take the risk of attempting more questions in one section and less questions in other. Be safe and attempts a decent number of questions in each section. Then, go and focus on your strong section. Plan your strategy accordingly. You still have five days to finalise your exam strategy.

5. Take care of Negative marking

IIFT has negative marking. For every wrong answer, 1/3 marks of the concerned question is deducted. You cannot just answer randomly. Keep in mind about negative marking. Don’t guess the answer. If you are not sure of the answer, better skip it.
