IIM Joint MBA admissions 2026: A joint admission process for MBA admissions has been launched by four Indian Institutes of Management, who were earlier a part of IIM CAP. IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi and IIM Trichirappalli have collectively launched the JAP admission process 2026. The MBA admission process at these four IIMs will be handled by IIM Raipur. JAP 2026 has been launched with an aim to smoothen the MBA admission process at these IIMs. Students looking for MBA admission to these IIMs will be able to apply to any of them after the announcement of CAT results through a single window. CAT exam result 2025 was released on December 24, 2025. IIM JAP cutoff has been announced by the exam authorities on December 26, 2025. What is IIM JAP 2026?
IIM JAP or the IIM Joint Admission Process 2026, is a process to apply to the MBA programmes at IIM Raipur, IIM Kashi, IIM Trichy and IIM Ranchi, through one channel. The students who appear for the CAT exam and have a valid CAT score will be able to apply for MBA admissions through JAP at the JAP participating colleges. The initiative has been launched to make it easier for the students by minimizing paperwork, improving fairness and offering a transparent admission process.
Making IIM admission process student centric and increasing transparency is the core focus of JAP 2026. The selection through JAP will be based on CAT results.

IIM JAP 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for IIM JAP 2026 is:
- Candidate should have appeared for the CAT 2025 exam
- Should have achelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute with a minimum of 50% aggregate, 45% for reserved categories.

The JAP MBA admission process 2026 is as follows:
Appearing for CAT 2025 and CAT Results
The first step is to appear for the CAT exam 2025. The exam date is November 30, 2025, in the computer-based test mode. IIM Kozhikode is administering the exam this year. The application portal for JAP admission will open after the announcement of the CAT 2025 results.
JAP Application Process 2026
Once the results for CAT exam are out, the candidates who have secured 95 percentile and above will be able to apply to the participating colleges through the JAP portal.

Selection and Shortlisting
IIM Raipur will be managing the application process for IIM JAP MBA admissions, reviewing the applications and the interview process. Once the application of the candidate is shortlisted, they will be required to appear for the Written Ability Test, Group Discussion or Personal Interview. The performance of the candidates in these rounds will be considered for admission to all four IIMs.

Final MBA Admissions
Once the candidate clears all the rounds of the JAP selection process, students will be called final seat allotment and admission offer. Â
JAP admission process has been launched to simplify the process of applying for MBA admission to different institutes.
