Rajagiri MBA admission process, eligibility, fees, dates, scholarships

Rajagiri MBA admission process includes Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), and Business Awareness Test (BAT). Application process is currently underway and the last date to apply is April 15, 2026. Candidates can fill the application form at the institute website. The institute offers PGDM, MA in HRM, MBA, PGDM–International, and IEMBA programs. Rajagiri MBA application fee is INR 1000.

Applications will be shortlisted on the basis of candidate’s performance in a MBA entrance exam score and their academic profile. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for GD-PI-BAT round. Read below all about Rajagiri MBA admission proess.

Rajagiri MBA Admission 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates planning to apply for MBA course at Rajagiri Business School have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
  • Students completing their Bachelor’s degree programme in March-May 2026 are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who don’t have 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree can apply for admission if they have a Master’s degree course

Q:   Do IIMs accept MAT score?
A: 

No, IIMs do not accept MAT score for MBA Admission. They only accept CAT score for admission to their MBA/PGP programmes. However, MAT score is accepted by over 700 MBA colleges in India including: Amity University GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research Christ University GITAM Institute of Management JIMS Rohini Jain University Taxila Business School, Jaipur SRM University Birla Institute of Management Technology Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Tezpur University Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India IIFM Bhopal YMCA.

Q:   What is MAT age limit?
A: 
There is no age limit for appearing in MAT exam. Any candidate who has a graduation degree can appear for MAT. They can be fresh graduates or working professionals with several years of work experience. A good number of MAT applicants are working professionals who are seeking to enhance their management skills by pursuing an MBA course. At the same time, a large number of fresh graduates also apply for MAT. Especially from non-technical background as the difficulty level is not as high as CAT or XAT exams. Since, MAT is accepted by MBA colleges for Executive MBA, Online MBA, Part-Time MBA and Distance MBA courses too, a good number of working professionals appear for the MAT exam. MAT is also popular among Management aspirants and working professionals as it is an easy exam and one can prepare for it while working as well. It is easier to strike work and study balance in MAT.
Q:   I have done BCom from correspondence college. Can I apply for CAT?
A: 

Yes, you can apply for CAT. The main criteria of eligibility for CAT is graduation from a recognised university. So, whether the education mode is full-time or correspondence, if the university is recognised by the UGC, the candidates will be eligible to appear for the CAT exam.

Q:   What if I have a very good CAT score but poor academic record?
A: 

If you have a very good CAT score but poor academic record it is quite likely that you may not be shortlisted for top IIMs as the institutes prefer candidates with overall consistency in academics. Class 12 scores holds a lot of importance in shortlisting of candidates for WAT-PI.

Final admission result of the rank list will be released within 20 days from the date of completing GDPI. Selected candidates will be required to complete admission process and pay the requisite fee thereafter.

Q:   Can I write MAT - CBT exam at my home or will they provide a center for this exam?
A: 

For MAT CBT, candidates will be allotted a test centre in the city they shall have selected as preference in the, MAT application form. Q:   What is the CAT exam cutoff required to get admission to IIM Bangalore?
A: 

The CAT cut offs for IIM Bangalore hovers between 97-100 percentile. The qualifying CAT cut off required for being eligible for IIM Bangalore's Written Ability test (What) and Personal Interview PI is 85 percentile for General category students, whereas for SC candidates, it is 70 percentile. For ST candidates, it is 65 percentile and for PwD candidates it is 60 percentile. Given below are the sectional and overall qualifying CAT cut offs for IIM Bangalore.

  • General category: 80 VARC 75 DILR 75 Quantitative Aptitude 85 (Overall)

Q:   Do I need to fill separate forms for multiple MAT attempts?
A: 

For every MAT attempt in different phases you need to fill a separate form. However, if you are planning to go for more than one attempt in the same exam phase, they you can apply for a combination of two exam session.

Candidate can take MAT in the following modes and combinations:

  • Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) or
  • Double Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) or
  • Paper Based Test (PBT) or
  • Paper Based Test and Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (PBT+IBT) or
  • Computer Based Test (CBT) or
  • Computer Based Test and Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (CBT+IBT) or
  • Paper Based Test and Computer Based Test (PBT+CBT) 

 The MAT application form will be common and candidates will have to only mention their exam modes in it.

Q:   Can I get direct admission in Rajagiri Business School?
A: 

No, Rajagiri Business School does not accept direct admissions. Candidates willing to get admission to either PG or PhD course at the institute are required to qualify for the respective entrance exams in order to get admission. Candidates who secured a valid score in the entrance exam will be called for further GD and PI rounds. Interested students can visit the official website of the institute to know more.

Rajagiri Scholarships 2026

According to Shiksha, MBA course fee at Rajagiri Business School is INR 7.5 lakh. The fee is to be paid semester wise. The institute offers scholarships to deserving candidates, which is nearly 25 to 30 percent waiver in tuition fee. Check below Rajagiri Business School Scholarships.

  1. Diversity Scholarship: Eligibility: The applicant must be a non-Keralite.
  2. Career and Talent Scholarship: Career and Talent Scholarship is based on CAT exam score. Candidates who have scored above 80 percentile in the CAT 2025 an avail fee waiver of 25 to 50 percent.
  3. Director/Dean’s Scholarship: Students who have scored 95 percentile or higher in the CAT 2025 exam can avail 75% tuition fee waiver.

Rajagiri Business School offers PGDM and FPM programmes. The former is a PG level programme while the latter is a doctoral level programme. The duration of PGDM is two years and the course is offered in full-time mode while FPM extends upto five years.
