Also, if you are interested to go abroad for further studies and job you better to start preparation for abroad entrance examinations such as GRE, GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL, etc., and you can also study by distance-education method if you are not interested to go to college.

Immediately after TANCET

After writing TANCET examination, immediately you should have an analysis of your exam. You will get an idea of whether you wrote the exam well or not. If you are confident that you wrote the exam well then you should prepare for counselling and you should be ready with certificates which are required for these sessions. You should search colleges which provide good placements, which have good infrastructure, etc., according to you. And also you should identify previous years’ cutoff, up to which rank which colleges are getting. If possible, consult your seniors, relatives regarding previous years’ cutoff, counselling sessions, etc., you should gather some information before your results and counselling. Moreover, if you didn’t give the best attempt you can choose decision either to re-attempt or leave this exam and try in another ways like preparing for other entrance exams, joining in college by management seats, preparing for other jobs like the private sector and government sector, going to coaching centres etc.,

A few days after TANCET

If you have waited till the results, counselling sessions, etc., though you are not satisfied with your score or allotted college, you can take admission through management seats in your favourite college. If you don’t want to join any college because of less score then you can drop a year for TANCET preparation, this is also good. And also you can join in deemed universities for dual degree like PG &PhD. If you have any questions or enquiry you can also consult your seniors and take some valuable suggestions. If you want to drop a year, then you should have a proper study plan, proper guidance, keep on concentrate only on studies, and avoid unnecessary things such as social media but not technology. If you don’t want to waste your academic year then join in any Institute through counselling process or through management it is up to you.
