You should be familiar with the structure of the exam you are appearing for. You should only answer the questions that you are sure about, otherwise, negative marking can bring you really down.

Failure is just a part of learning. Take it as a challenge and improve your quality over the subjects you thought you couldn’t attempt well. If you think your performance wasn’t as per your expectations, do not give up. Even though after the exam you should prepare for the main concepts of the upcoming exam with improved performance. Your focus should be on decision making and general knowledge questions. Students who haven’t scored well in CAT exam can try their best in XAT with enhanced presentation. Also, the SNAP exam is considerably less difficult than the other exams according to the survey. Both the exams have different levels of questions and preparation requirements. You should be familiar with the structure of the exam you are appearing for. You should only answer the questions that you are sure about, otherwise, negative marking can bring you really down.

Always be prepared with the list of colleges you look forward to getting into.

Here is what your next step should be after SNAP 2019 based on the percentile you secure:

  • 90 + percentile: If your score falls into this category then you will have countless opportunities for your MBA admission. This gives you cut-off for the top colleges such as NITIE Mumbai, IIT Delhi, FMS and many more. Always keep yourself open to current affairs for the interviews and discussions.
  • 80 to 90 percentile: This score will not give you many opportunities but herein you can apply for colleges such as Manipal University, XIME Bangalore, FORE Management School of Delhi and several others.
  • 60 to 70 percentile: You can aim for admission in Tier-II & III colleges, the PI and GD is common for the admission procedure nowadays. You can search for colleges such as IPE Hyderabad, AMSOM Ahmedabad, BIMM Pune, ASB Bangalore, JIM Lucknow and others.
  • You need to search for the colleges in the Tier-III category.

There are colleges that conduct their own exams and take other exams too. Choose in which exam category you have scored well and apply to the colleges accordingly. I would suggest you to not break your study schedule, even if your exams are over. To increase your score in the future, you need to start now for the betterment of yourself. You can also take a year’s break and study to your level of expectations and secure 100 percent marks, it will be worth it. Believe in yourself and do not give up.
