TAPMI Admissions 2017: Registrations underway; check WAT/PI dates

Admission procedure for MBA programmes 2017 at T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal, is underway. The registration process started on Nov 3, 2016 and will go on till January 31, 2017.

The college offers PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management), PGDM-Banking and Financial Services and PGDM-Healthcare, on the basis of CAT/XAT/GMAT scores obtained by students.

Based on these scores, the candidates will be invited for WAT/Personal Interview rounds. The candidates will then be evaluated on the basis of their academic profiles, work experience, test scores, WAT/PI performance, extra-curricular activities and SOP, as these factors will determine a candidate’s admission in T A Pai Management Institute.

Eligibility crirteria:

For PGDM:

• A Graduate degree in any subject with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university

 

• In case of grades / CGPA, the conversion to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure as certified by the respective University/ institution

 

• Valid scores of CAT 2016, XAT 2017 and GMAT 2015 and 2016

 

For PGDM- Banking and Financial Services

• Eligibility criteria for PGDM- Banking and Financial Services are same as PGDM but those applying for both the programmes will have to undergo two separate interviews

 

• The BKFS applicants will be adjudged in the interview on the basis of their knowledge of Financial Markets, Banking System and developments in the Financial Services world

For PGDM- Healthcare

• Eligibility criteria for PGDM- Healthcare are same as PGDM

 

• For applicants with Medical / Paramedical background (eg: medical & paramedical degree includes MBBS, BDS, BAMS, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy etc.) MAT September and December 2016 scores are considered in addition to CAT / XAT / GMAT

Application process:

The application forms for all the PGDM programmes are available online. Interested candidates can login to the TAPMI website and fill up the form.

The candidate needs to follow the following step to apply:

• Create a login ID to get registered, by entering a valid email ID, mobile number and password.

 

• Once you are registered, login to access the application form.

 

• Select the course you want to apply for. You can select multiple courses too.

 

• Fill up the form with valid information. Don’t leave any mandatory field vacant as incomplete forms will be rejected.

Payment of application fees:

The application fee of Rs 1500 can be paid online through credit/debit cards, net banking or cash voucher.  If you are applying for multiple courses, you will have to pay extra.
