FPM program facilitates research studies, which are divided into four components: mandatory course work, comprehensive examination, thesis proposal formulation and thesis submission and defence. 

Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow runs three major business management courses. These are PGDM (General), PGDM (Financial Services), and PGDM (Retail Marketing). The courses are approved by AICTE, accredited by NBA, and have been recognised by AIU as an equivalent degree to MBA. In addition, this business school offers a Fellowship Program in Management.

The duration of the PGDM program is two years. The curriculum of the course combines theoretical and practical learning. Case studies, workshops and guest lectures by professionals from the industry are used to teach students. Students must complete summer internships as a required component of their coursework in order to get practical experience. Students can complete internships at the college itself in a variety of subjects. Students are also urged to participate in fieldwork and live projects to learn more about the sector.

The college offers some prominent core courses that include Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Business Communications, Strategy, Information systems, Economics and International Business.

1. PGDM (General)

Students opting for PGDM (General) get to choose any two of the specialisations mentioned above. The subjects of the respective specialisation are applicable from the fourth semester onwards. The student gets to study nine subjects from major specialisation, two subjects from Liberal Arts, and four from any other domain. 

2. PGDM (Financial Services)

Students opting for PGDM (Financial Services) are taught subjects centred on Banking, Finance, Insurance, Investment, and Finance sectors. It provides you with the most recent conceptual and technical developments in Statistics, Economics, Mortgage Lending, Mutual Funds, Financial Planning, and Finance. You gain the ability to lead now and tomorrow. The idea is to prepare the student for the financial industry. The major specialisation has to be Finance, whereas, the other one can be chosen by the student. 

With super specialisation in the industry of your choice, the MBA equivalent PGDM program in Financial Service gives one an advantage. You have the option to combine up to 10 electives, selecting four from the prioritised areas and the remaining eight from a variety of electives. By selecting four electives in HR, Information Systems, Marketing, Finance, and Operations Management, one can double-specialise in any other functional area of management.

3. PGDM (Retail Management)

The focus of this course is to make students well versed in the concepts and cutting-edge management techniques used in the sector. The program has developed and now includes strong marketing integration and modern e-tailing. Working on live projects and internships, as well as being at the marketplace and interacting with clients/ customers, make up a big part of the learning. 

A super specialisation in the industry of your choice allows you to stand out with the PGDM-MBA in Retail Management. You have the option to combine up to 10 electives, selecting four of them from the prioritised areas and the remaining eight from a variety of electives.

By selecting four electives from Marketing, Human Resources, Information Systems, Finance and Operations Management, one can double-specialise in any other functional area of management. The major specialisation should be in Retail Management only. Sector specialisation can be achieved by selecting three of the mentioned six electives from any of the fields below.

4. Fellow Program in Management

This program facilitates research studies, which are divided into four components: mandatory course work, comprehensive examination, thesis proposal formulation and thesis submission and defence. 

The specialisations are offered in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Human Resources Management and Organisational Behavior, Operations Management, Information Technology, Decision Sciences & Business Analytics, General Management, Strategy, Economics and Public policy.
