Prof. Anuradha Mehta, Director - Taxila Business School, holds a post-graduation degree in Psychology and Management. She believes that doing business could be tough but teaching business could be tougher and handling the businessman could be toughest.

Q: What are the top three initiatives undertaken by you that are helping your students become more industry ready?

Top three initiatives undertaken are as follows:

a. At Taxila Business School, students do not fail to go the extra mile. They work day and night from 9:00 AM till Midnight (total of 15 hours) to give their best

b. We make sure our students understand the importance of urgency. They are ready to take up assignments at any time of the hour. They are given a time span of two hours to prepare for their final exams

c. Students work on live projects.

Q: What are the key attributes that a student should have in order to qualify for your institution and get top grades in your institution?  

The key attributes that a student should have in order to qualify for your institution and get top grades in your institution are:

a. Qualify for your institution: We set exceptionally high standards for the talent inducted in our program. Applicants applying for admission should have certain essential prerequisites which include: superior leadership quality, communication, and interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, value-driven mindset, flexibility, motivation, sharp intellectual curiosity, and commitment.

b.   Get top grades in your institution:

• Taxila is a disciplined school. Students here know the value of every minute. There is a compulsory attendance requirement of at least 90%, and even if they are late by a minute we consider them absent
• Minimum marks required to pass PGDM is 55%. All our students are target-oriented. We set the bars so that they keep on performing better every single time

Q: Which programmes would you say are your best? What is it that helps your institution differentiate itself for these programmes?

Along with PGDM, Taxila provides SAP Program. PGDM+SAP students passing in 2018 and 2019 have already been placed with the minimum placement of Rs. 12 Lac and Highest of Rs. 18 Lac.

Q: What are you doing to improve/drive better campus placements for your current students and alumni? What kind of jobs routinely come to campus? What would you say are the key recruitment trends for your college (observed over the past five years)?

• Students are tested every day, means ready to take up assignments any time. Their final exams happen at a notice of two hours. They know the importance of urgency
• Regular Live projects, Regular Guest lecture from Corporate experts.
• Taxila is a disciplined school, students here know the value of every minute, attendance requirement is 90%, and late by one minute is marked as absent
• Minimum marks required to pass PGDM is 55%, means they perform better on raised bars as well as they are target-oriented.
