XLRI Placements 2022: average Salary Offer INR 30.70 Lakh Per Annum

XLRI Jamshedpur final placements process of 2020-22 PGDM batch witnessed 100 per cent recruitment and participation of 99 top companies of India and abroad. The average salary offer stood at INR 30.70 lakh per annum and median salary stood at INR 30.00 lakh per annum. The highest CTC offer stood at INR 60+ lakh per annum.
XLRI final placements 2022 saw participation from 99 recruiters with 437 domestic offers, including 23 new finals recruiters. This year, 40 per cent of the batch got PPO based on their summer internship performance.

Regular recruiters included Aditya Birla Group, Asian Paints, Capgemini ELITE, Hindustan Unilever, Nestle, P&G, TAS and others. New recruiters included American Express, Freshworks, Swiggy, MoEngage Inc. and slice, etc. Among the regular recruiters, BCG, Bain & Co., Accenture Strategy, Amazon, PayTM, ITC and Microsoft made the highest number of offers in the XLRI final placements 2022. Some of the new recruiters included American Express, Freshworks, Swiggy, MoEngage Inc., slice and Zynga amongst others.
Job roles like Associate Director and Chief of Staff, etc. were offered by many recruiters to XLRI - Xavier School of Management graduates.

XLRI Placements 2022: Sector Wise Split
Maximum offers were made in Consulting, ITES, E-Commerce, Gaming & Online Services and Sales & Marketing. Sector wise ITES, E-Commerce, Gaming & Online Services offered 27 per cent roles, while in Sales & Marketing 25 per cent roles were offered. Consulting made up for 24 per cent offers to candidates.
According to the latest report 2026, PGDM students accepted 576 domestic offers and 2 international offers in 2026. The placement percentage data is not released as of now. Earlier, during the placement drive 2024, 100% PGDM BM and HRM students were placed.
For PGDM GM, 98% students were placed during the placement drive 2025.

Consulting followed by BFSI, IT and Sales & Marketing sectors were among the top sectors during PGDM BM and PGDM HRM placements 2026. Placement distribution recorded in these sectors was 36%, 18%, 15% and 12%.
In PGDM GM course, IT sector was the top sector wherein 47 offers were made in 2025.
Consulting
In Consulting, the 24 per cent offers came from Bain & Company, The Boston Consulting Group, AT Kearney, Accenture Strategy, Aon, Deloitte, PwC, EY, Everest Group and others.
FMCG, Telecom, and Pharma
Top participants in these sectors included P&G, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Colgate Palmolive, Asian Paints, Nestle, Samsung, Mondelez, Dabur, Reckitt, Pidilite, PepsiCo, Cipla, Dr. Reddy’s, Sun Pharma, Thermofisher, Novozymes, etc. which offered roles in Strategy, Sales & Marketing, Product Supply, Operations, IT and Human Resources.
BFSI
In this domain, top companies such as Goldman Sachs, J.P Morgan Chase, NIIF, Citibank, Standard Chartered, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI, Edelweiss, etc. offered roles like Front End Investment Banking, Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Global and Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, Global Markets, Equity Research, and Retail Banking.
General Management
Top companies such as TAS, Aditya Birla Group, offered Mahindra, Capgemini ELITE, Reliance Industries, Hinduja Group among others Job roles in General Management.
ITES, E-commerce and Online Services
Companies from this sector which offered various job roles XLRI students in 2022 final placements include, Amazon, PayTM, Microsoft, Google, Freshworks, Media.net, Walmart, Flipkart, Myntra, PhonePe, Star Disney, Uber, Ola, Jio Platforms, Times Internet, Info Edge, Udaan, Swiggy, Licious, Zynga, Junglee Games, Games 24x7 and Dangal Games, etc.
