A good MBA college for placements.

Placements: Placements have just ended, and we have already seen many students getting shortlisted for various roles offered by top companies like Accenture, EY, ITC, and ICICI Bank. Many more companies are lined up to come in the coming weeks. The highest salary package offered so far is 18 LPA. SIBM brings some of the best companies to campus, e.g., Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, Mahindra, Volvo Eicher, ICICI Bank, Newgen, and Genpact. The majority of students in the current batch were offered internships, and a few companies are already in discussions to offer a PPO. Top management roles in various domains like marketing, finance, analytics, and HR are being offered to the current batch of students.

Infrastructure: The courses provide facilities such as modern classrooms with AC, projectors, and comfortable seating. The labs are well-equipped, enhancing our learning experience. The library's vast collection and serene environment make it my favorite study spot on campus. The library environment is very energetic.

Faculty: The MBA course at Chandigarh University is up to industry standards for every specialization. In fact, many labs are in collaboration with big MNCs. Industry experts visit for expert talks and classes. All our faculty have great industry experience, which is why they teach us using case studies, which is the best.

A value-for-money college with good placement opportunities.

Placements: Annually, more than 90% of the students secure placements. The highest package reaches up to 19 LPA, while the average package spans around 10 LPA for my particular course. Numerous companies visit monthly to offer internships. During the winter internship period, I was shortlisted for KPMG. Business analyst, sales, and marketing roles are offered.

Infrastructure: Speaking about the college in terms of infrastructure, we cannot say it is not good. All basic infrastructure facilities and every service are available. Maintenance is needed at times in some areas that require attention. A proper canteen, bus facilities, parking facilities, common hall, library, and other necessary campus machinery facilities are available.

Faculty: The faculty comprises in-house as well as visiting faculty members. The curriculum is extremely tight and rigorous. The point is that the courses are quite personalized, especially those in the milieu of the industry/economy, which is why some subjects differ from previous years/semesters. Examinations are systematically organized after the completion of each course.

The college campus is good. Overall, the experience is good.

Placements: Based on previously shared data by the college, 85-95% of students get placed in top companies. According to previous data, the highest package is 19 Lacs, the average is 5-9 Lacs, and the lowest is 2.5-3 Lacs. The top visited companies are Accenture, EY, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, etc. I think 80-90% of the students got internships in companies like Max, Zilch, etc. The top roles offered in MBA are Managerial posts, Accountant, HR Manager, Project Manager, etc.

Infrastructure: My experience about the classroom is that the faculty are well-experienced and qualified. Wi-Fi is available at high speed. Sometimes, teachers are not good at teaching. Now, talking about the hostel, there are plenty of hostels available with a good Wi-Fi network and comfortable rooms, but the mess food was the worst. Everything tastes sweet, and it is the worst food ever.

Faculty: The teachers were really very helpful, understandable, well-experienced, and qualified. The practicals were held, which was the most interesting class for all students. Well, the semester exam was, to be honest, very easy. You just had to learn some of the important topics which faculty used to provide the most and read those topics, so it was easy.

I am completely satisfied with this college.

Placements: I am pursuing my MBA from the college, and after consulting with my senior batch about placements, I have analysed that they have an extremely nice placement as compared to other management colleges. They have the highest package of 18 LPA last year and their average package was 9.5 LPA. We have companies such as Accenture, Kpmg, Ey, Itc, Hcl, Icici bank, ect that visits our college for placements.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our college are very good. Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs and classrooms are available. The best part of our college is the library. The library is large, and you may spend all your day there. The quality of meals served to the students is normal, but you'll also get dominos, subways, and many others. , which covers the mess meals. Medical centers are available. Sports facilities are great.

Faculty: Professors at our college are helpful and knowledgeable. One thing is that they can remove the foreign language from the course curriculum, which can be dropped, because, in my opinion, that is of no use in our upcoming careers, and we also do not have any good faculty to teach that particular language. The course curriculum makes the students industry-ready, and it also provides insights for the industry.

Other: WE have great campus life with lot of extra curriculum activities.

A college with good facilities and placements.

Placements: By the college, around 95% of the students get placements in our course in the areas of customer relationship, business development, product management, banking, etc. The placement range is between 4 and 20 LPA. The leading recruiters of college are Amazon, Accenture, Deloitte, Paytm, ITC, HDFC bank, ICICI bank, Kotak bank, etc.

Infrastructure: For me, the facilities provided for the fee we pay are good and we have different labs and halls for different interactions with professors. The hostel facility is good and offers us single rooms with good amenities. The food offered in the dining court is cooked to good quality. A medical room is also available.

Faculty: Somewhere, most of the professors are good at teaching but sometimes they are just too rusey for us. The course curriculum is very rigorous and includes theoretical studies, practical sessions and case studies as well. Exams are held per semester and it is easy to get promoted.
