IMT Nagpur is as goated as any top B-School
Placements: Our placement cell also sees faculty member's participation and therefore, placements here are just too good. Our batch size is 30 and nearly 90% of students in my batch were placed. The highest package so far from our university has been 36.3 LPA and our batch median for the same was 12-13 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our campus is quite big, with lush green outfields. There are two boy's hostels and two girl's hostels on our 27-acre campus. The digital library and sports field make me want to go out there and play some sports every day. We also have a store for general items inside our campus, and thus, we can easily manage without even stepping out of the campus.
Faculty: Highly qualified teachers who always propel us to do bigger things in life. Not just students, but our professors too go for training programmes regularly to get better and keep themselves updated. Thus, the quality of professors and their teaching has been surreal for me.
Other: So many clubs and societies are there. From college to hostel, multiple events always keep students engaged here.

IMT Nagpur offers a well-rounded PGDM experience with a strong industry exposure.
Placements: In 2024-2026, the top companies that came for recruitment are Sn Capital, Bata, Bajaj Life, Crisil, Oxane Partners, General Mills, Barclays, Morgan Stanley, and Jio Creative Labs. The highest package is 24 LPA, and the median package is 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities have been good. Infrastructure is top-notch. The college has a lush green campus. The mess food is also good, obviously not the best, but okay compared to reviews I have heard of other colleges. The canteen food is quite good. The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere. The sports facilities are also very good.
Faculty: All teachers have been really good. They are very knowledgeable about their respective courses and are very helpful as well. The course curriculum is relevant and dynamic. The college follows the CGPA system, and there are 6 trimesters ( 3 in each year).
Other: The campus is situated 35 KM away from the main city, away from the crowd of the city. The course is quite good. All the important things are covered that are required for a better future. The student committee culture is especially the one that I have liked the most and has personally helped me develop a lot of skills that are required in the corporate field.

Disappoint unhappy waste.
Placements: 1/3rd batch unplaced or 100+ out of 340 unplaced. No big companies come to recrui hardly 1 or 2. Average package is 6 to 8 LPA based on people who got placed, otherwise, it would be way less if taking all students into consideration. Very few, less than 50%, got internship from college, and that too in small companies, mostly unpaid, others got by themselves. Other colleges offer the same roles and packages with lower fees and percentile. Unplaced students are working at 3-4 LPA off-campus. Some roles are not even MBA-level. This college is a total waste of money.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is in hostels and academic buildings. Girls and boys have separate hostels, and it is not allowed to go to each other’s hostel. The library is open all the time, and it has some computers too, but only one Bloomberg terminal. Hostel rooms will have a B.Ed frame, table, chair, almirah, small bedside drawer, you will have to buy a mattress, pillow, curtains, bucket, and mug separately. Food is not bad in the mess, you will get food 4 times a day. It has sports facilities for different sports, but the gym is very bad, with no proper equipment and in a very small room.
Faculty: Education quality is not up to the mark. Some teachers don't teach in class. Most students bunk classes by giving false attendance. Exams are difficult because of relative grading system. You are not allowed to sit for placements below 5 CGPA. They give debarment points on very small things, and you are ineligible for placements after 20 points. They will make you sign weird placement policy, which is very bad for students. Placement report is incorrect. No preparation for Resume Building, company interviews, GD. No extra certification by college.
Other: College life is average as it is 40 km away from the city, so you don't have exposure to the city, and the crowd is also average. The college has 1 main event in a year and some little events on festivals. College culture is not good, most people drink and smoke on campus. For going to the city, cabs take 2000 Rs. The canteen is expensive. It takes above 75 percentile in CAT, but no big companies come to recruit, and most students are unplaced. IMT tag has no value and reputation.

A short review of IMT, Nagpur.
Placements: At this college, 50-60% of students get placements every year. Many big companies and startups visit our college for the placements. The average package offered at our college was 4-13 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our courses were Deloitte, Accenture, Axis Bank, Kotak, KPMG, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities at our college were good enough. The college has facilities like Wi-Fi, library, hostel, canteen, labs, etc. on the campus itself. The college canteen offers food at a reasonable price. Hostel facilities were also provided here. Mess food was also good to eat.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers at our college were well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers were supportive and helpful to all the students. The course curriculum of the college was designed according to the industry requirements, which makes the students job-ready. Exams were also tough to pass at our college.

Infrastructure: 1. We have a huge campus of 27 acres. Complete Wi-fi Campus with a two-story library. Classrooms are fully smart classes with AC. One big playground, tennis court, badminton court, gym, Park, and two canteens. 4 hostels, two for girls and two for boys.
2. The hostel is a three-story building with Wi-fi enabled and a water-cooler. Two people in one room are allotted. With fully furnished rooms and we also have a guest house for parents to stay in whenever they want to visit. Food is very good with the mess committee working day and night to resolve the issues and make the best quality food available for us. Medical facilities are available, and all kinds of indoor and outdoor games are available such as cricket, soccer, basketball, tennis, Table tennis badminton etc.
Faculty: 1. All the teachers are more than qualified. Some are Ph.D. holders with reputed institutes such as IITs. Some teachers are also visiting lecturers at Harward University. All the teachers are very open to helping even outside the classes personally or by conducting doubt classes which help in the case if we didn't understand in the class.
2. Course curriculum is fully relevant as the college is accredited with AICTE, AIU, and NBA. They keep the updated course that complies with the norms of AICTE. Along with the courses many Live-projects are being offered to make the student's industry ready along with Ships. Full campus is student-driven from placement to admissions. Be it event organizing, Corporate interaction, or Alumni interaction. Everything is being taken care of by student committees. Which gives students a very good understanding of the real-world scenario and makes them industry ready.
Other: 1. I chose this course because it offers the best ROI compared to any other college. The brand name of IMT is very good. Also, it focuses on practical knowledge more than theoretical knowledge.
2. As the campus is very far from the main city, I believe better facilities should be made available in terms of the canteen. Though we have a canteen the variety offered is limited. And also we have a co-operative store which offers necessities available but it is very limited and could be expanded or maybe opened a different store with more varieties available.
3. Many events are organized almost every month in the college. But the flagship event comprises M-34 & M-35 where colleges from all around the country take participation. It is a two-day event comprised of many small events on the campus itself all day long for two days. Fests and farewells are conducted every year. We have overall 350 students in one batch. The scholarship is available for every girl @ 5% fee redemption and all CAT scholars with above 90percentile are being offered 40% fees redemption. Also, annually the college conducts an exam where the top 5 students are offered a 40% fee waiver. Extracurricular activities include activities like gym, sports, Live-projects, talent acquisition forums such as dance and singing forums, Drama groups, art, and crafts groups, etc.

IMT, Nagpur, is a really good college at an average percentile.
Placements: IMT is a good college for MBA. It is a better choice if you want to pursue MBA in financial management or marketing management. The roles offered here are almost good. Many top recruiting companies such as Wipro, Deloitte, Bajaj, etc., come here.
Infrastructure: Hostel life here is amazing. The infrastructure is good as per the fee paid, and all the facilities are available in the hostel. They provide hot water during winters. The infrastructure and the lush green campus make our hostel life more fun.
Faculty: The faculty are good, and the curriculum is interesting. The peer competition and staff are really fascinating. Teachers are really helpful to us in our studies, and they provide good education. The course curriculum is very much relevant. Semester examinations are really good.

I am satisfied in terms of ROI, campus life, good and supportive faculty members.
Placements: Almost 80% of students are placed. The highest salary pacakge offered is 23.57 LPA, and the average salary pacakge offered is 9.90 LPA. The median salary package offered is 8.25 LPA. Crisil, KPMG, Deloitte, Tata AIG, Ceipal, ICICI Bank, Marico, TVS Motors, and Shadi. Com are the top recruiting companies. Consulting is 39%, BFSI i.e 22%, IT and ITES 34%, service is 5%, and FMCG.
Infrastructure: It provides 24X7 library i.e Learning Resource Center with a large number of books, e-books, magazines, online journals, and 8 number National International Journal Database, newspapers, 28 well-equipped classrooms. The room has a bed chair, wardrobe, 4-time food, 24X7 dispensary, 3 large playgrounds indoor, and outdoor games.
Faculty: Every professor has done a Ph.D. and is qualified, every professor is very approachable, they give pre-read and case study after every class. The course curriculum is based on as per industry. Semester exams are difficult, but as students will focus on their class then they can easily sail through it.
Other: It has more than 35 committee, forums, clubs, and venture, events are organised by these clubs and committee, which is managed by students. The student learns management is college itself. It provides 3 scholarships 1 for a good score in the entrance exam, EWS scholarship, and women scholarships are provided.

Amazing faculty, infrastructure, placements and campus life.
Placements: The last year batch had a reasonably good gender ratio of male consisting 67% and females were 33%. 70% of the batch was fresher and 30% of the batch had work experience from 1 to 4 years. The entire batch got decent placement offers from companies such as Crisil, Wipro, Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, SBI Life Insurance, Federal Bank, Brain and Co, Usha, Berger, Nielsen, Reliance General Insurance, evalueserve to name a few. The companies offered various job profiles such as business analyst, assistant manager, apprentice leader, territory manager, app marketing associate, research associate, sales and relationship manager, etc.etera. The highest package offered was of 16 LPA, Average was 7.94 LPA. The last year batch got internship offers from different companies including Crisil, IDBI Bank, Reliance Jio, Outlook Group, Tata Steel, Alchemist, Zomato, Bata, Cardekho, Polyplex.
Infrastructure: IMT Nagpur is famous for its 30-acre lush green campus. Clean, peaceful and tranquil surroundings help students in concentrating better. Students get all the necessary facilities in the campus only. They have Wi-Fi enabled campus that includes learning resource centre (LRC), IT equipped classrooms, functional gym, football, lawn tennis ground, cricket pitch, pool table, volleyball, basketball and badminton court. The red brick infrastructure has dedicated classrooms for different activities, events, meetings. IMT Nagpur provides separate hostel facilities equipped with all the basic amenities for males and females inside the campus including mess. The mess serves nutritional and healthy food with a dining capacity of 1000 members, have separate blocks for veg and non-veg eaters, television to know the world, fabricated with excellent furniture and other requisite facilities. The campus has a guesthouse and faculty residence as well. The college also has a dispensary in case of any medical emergency. IMT is known for its student-driven management, so campus also has many student driven cooperative stores providing facilities from telecommunication, courier to barber, cobbler services, laundry services.
Faculty: The major USP of IMT Nagpur is undoubtedly its teachers and staff members. They are all enough qualified and immensely knowledgeable. The teachers are punctual, creative and innovative. Their tireless efforts make the entire learning experience enriching and engaging. The course curriculum has been designed in such a way including all the relevant parameters to make a student corporate ready. The course structure is inspired by the world's renowned b-schools and the unique teaching patterns. The course is not constructed surrounding books only, it includes case studies, class discussions, group presentation, assignments on the latest industrial topics, live projects, research projects, etc. That leads students to read, research and learn which ultimately makes them industry-ready.
Other: IMT Nagpur provides special scholarship to candidates having 90 percentile and above in CAT and XAT entrance exams of subsequent years. There are other scholarships provided to EWS candidates to support the students coming from deprived sections of the society. IMT Nagpur is comparatively older campus and thus can be believed to have excellent faculty and wider alumni base.
