2000 aspirants to appear for NEET-UG 2021 Exam in Dubai

Nearly 2,000 Indian expat students are likely to participate in the NEET-UG exam which will be conducted in Dubai on September 12.
The national-level medical entrance exam National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2021) is all set to be conducted in Dubai for the first time. Nearly, 2,000 Indian expat students from the UAE are anticipated to appear in the exam on September 12.
For this year, the exam centre will be the Indian High School (IHS) in Oud Metha. The Consulate General of India (CGI) confirmed that NEET-UG will be held at IHS premises on September 12 from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm in pen and paper mode. The three hours duration exam will be conducted as per the NTA guidelines. The students will have to answer in the specially designed machine gradable Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet using Black Ball Point Pen.
As per reports, approximately 16.1 lakh candidates have applied for NEET 2021. The NEET exam date was postponed from August 1 to September 12.
The exam is a pre-medical entrance test for shortlisting candidates for different medical courses in the government and private institutions of India. The candidates get selected for the undergraduate courses Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), AYUSH, Veterinary, and other medical/paramedical courses in India.
The students need to bring in NEET-UG admit card at the centre, one passport size photograph to be affixed on the attendance sheet, identity proof, PwD certificates if applicable and one postcard size colour photograph with white background must be pasted on the proforma downloaded and this must be handed over to invigilator at the exam centre. All Covid-19 safety protocols will be followed.
