Yes, it is mandatory for all government medical colleges, as well as semi government medical colleges. The admission process is based on NEET rank, so it's compulsory.

NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is a paper-and-pencil-based test (PBT) of three hours or 180 minutes duration.
