Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling Overview
The TN AYUSH counselling 2025 facilitates merit-based seat allotment through an online process, including document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting. It applies both to government and private AYUSH colleges throughout the state, wherein 85% of government seats and all private seats come under the control of the Directorate of Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy, Chennai, whereas 15% of government seats are allocated by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC).
Tamil Nadu Counselling AYUSH courses abide by standards set by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), which maintain quality and standardised education in Indian traditional medical systems.
Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling Eligibility
To be eligible for Tamil Nadu AYUSH counselling, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- He/She must have qualified for the NEET UG 2025 examination.
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognised board.
- Meet the minimum qualifying NEET percentile as set by the authorities for AYUSH courses.
- Be an Indian citizen and fulfil domicile requirements as prescribed by the Tamil Nadu government rules for state quota seats.

Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling Process
The standard TN AYUSH 2025 process for counseling included nearly all of the steps listed below:
1. NEET UG Result Announcement: The Tamil Nadu AYUSH counseling process begins after the announcement of the NEET UG result. This is for the NEET undergraduate exam for AYUSH seats, which takes place on June 14, 2025.

The merit list for Tamil Nadu AYUSH counseling 2025 is prepared based solely on NEET UG marks. The Directorate of Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy, Chennai, publishes the merit list. Candidates are listed according to their NEET rank, as well as eligibility for different AYUSH courses. There may be merit lists for different categories or courses.
