Bihar Board Exams: Bihar School Examination Board will be conducting BSEB class 10th exams from February 17 to 25, 2026 two shifts from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm and from 2 to 5:15 pm. Whereas Bihar Board 12th exams 2026 will be held between February 2 and 13 in two sessions. The first shift will be held from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm, and second shift from 2 to 5.15 pm.

As of now, students must be preparing for Bihar Board exams 2026. However, many students still lose marks because of silly and common mistakes. Not Understanding Bihar Board Syllabus Properly

One big mistake is studying without knowing the full syllabus. Some students read extra topics that are not in the syllabus. Some skip important chapters. Instead they must download latest Bihar Board syllabus and mark important chapters. Focus more on chapters with higher weightage.

Ignoring Bihar Board Previous Year Question Papers

There are many things that the students need to work on for better BSEB Matric exam preparation. First of all, they should obtain the syllabus and then make a proper study time table considering their strength and weakness. Follow the study time table religiously so that they can complete your preparation at least a month prior to the exam. In the end, try to revise the syllabus. Apart from that, also practice the question papers of previous years' exams and model question papers as prescribed by the board.

Q:   I am ready to spend money. Can I pass Bihar Board exams with good marks?

There is no way to increase your marks in Bihar Board class 10 and 12 exams except for your performence in the exam.The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) always warn students and parents about fraud people trying to con them. These fraud people contact the students and parents and pretend to be from board and promise that can raise students' marks for certain amount of money. 

Therefore, do not ever think that spending money can help you pass BSEB Matric or Inter exams with good marks.

Yes, for better performance in the Bihar Board class 10 exams, the students are advised to cover the entire syllabus. Questions can be asked from any topics or sub-topics of BSEB class 10 syllabus. BSEB prescribes the syllabus for both class 10 and 12 exams every year. Students can download the same from the official website of the board. Apart from covering the entire syllabus, the students are also advise to practice the model paper released by the board. It will help you prepare yourself for the actual BSEB Board exams.

Not Revising Enough

Students study many chapters but forget them during exams. They have no revision plan and studying new topics till the last day. They must keep these points in mind 

  • Keep last 20 to 25 days only for revision
  • Revise short notes and formulas daily
  • Practice sample papers
