CBSE will close applications for the Single Girl Child Scholarship on November 20. Eligible students must be the only girl child, score 60% in Class 10, and study in Classes 11 or 12 in CBSE schools. Check the important details of CBSE scholarship here:

CBSE offers ₹500 monthly scholarship for single girl students in Classes 11 and 12. Last date to apply is November 20.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) provides a merit scholarship for single girl students. The scheme is valid for girls who are the only child of their parents. Students must be females and have scored 60% or more in Class 10 CBSE exams. She should be a student of either Class 11 or 12 in a CBSE-affiliated school.

CBSE will close the registration process for CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2025 on November 20. The scholarship amount is ₹500 per month for two years. You can make a fee payment through ECS/NEFT. The tuition fee should not exceed ₹1,500 per month. For NRI students, the limit is ₹6,000 per month.

Both Indian Nationals and NRI students can fill out the scholarship form. The application process is online. You can follow the process given below process which suggested by CBSE:

  • Go to the CBSE official website: www.cbse.gov.in
  • Click ‘New User Registration’ or ‘Renewal’.
  • Read instructions and click ‘Continue’.
  • Enter roll number and date of birth as per Class 10 mark sheet.
  • Print the undertaking mentioned on the ‘Guidelines’ document.
  • After that, fill it out, paste the photo, and get the same attested from school.  
  • Make an affidavit as per the guidelines.
  • Scan both documents in PDF format, which should be under 1 MB, including all pages.
  • Upload the PDF files on the portal. Print the confirmation page after successful submission..

  • Caste certificate
  • Income certificate and admission proof.
  • Details of bank account and fees structure
  • Passport-size photos and scanned signature.
  • Student’s ID card, Class 11th mark sheet for scholarship renewal
  • Bank account-linked Aadhaar card, bank passbook, and canceled cheque.
  • An affidavit on ₹50 stamp paper from the girl or her parents, duly attested by the SDM or first-class magistrate.

It is mandatory to mention that the girl child belongs to a specific family. The scholarship aims to promote girls' education in the family which are in the need of money and still choose to educate their girls.

Q:   What are the passing marks for CBSE 12th board exams?
A:

Students need to score at least 33 percent in all subjects and a minimum aggregate of 33 percent in CBSE 12th board exams in order to clear the examinations. 

The Board released the CBSE 12th syllabus and marking scheme for all subjects. Students must ensure to complete their syllabus and know the exam pattern well. They must nalso download and solve the CBSE 12th sample papers and previous years' question papers to perform well in the exams. 

Once done with the syllabus and practice, students will be able to clear the 12th board examinations will good percentage.  

Q:   What should I do if I am unable to pass the CBSE 10th exam?
A:

CBSE conducts the CBSE 10th supplementary exam for those who are unable to clear the CBSE 10th exam. Students will have to appear for the Supplementary exam which will be conducted by the Board in June/July. The details will be announced by the Board after the declaration of the CBSE 10th result. The students will have to apply and pay the requisite fee to appear for the Supplementary exams. 

Q:   What things are not allowed in CBSE 10th board exams?
A:

Students must go through the points below to avoid the CBSE 10th board exam day hassles.

  • All communication devices like mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, headphones, pagers, fitness bands, cameras, etc., are barred from carrying to the examination hall.
  • Accessories like wallets, goggles, handbags, and purses are not to be carried.
  • Students must not forget to carry all the stationary items that are required to appear for the CBSE 10th board exams as sharing of stationary is not allowed
  • However, do not forget to carry your CBSE 10th admit card on all exam days
  • Students without the hall ticket will not be allowed to write their CBSE Class 10 board exams
