With the exams for major subjects just around the corner, here are important preparation tips and tricks to score full marks in the CBSE multiple choice question (MCQ) paper

CBSE Term 1 Exam 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the class 10, 12 term 1 exams for major papers from November 30. The exams will be conducted in multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. CBSE also released a mock CBSE MCQs 2021 exam papers for schools to download so that their students can practice as per the latest guidelines.

As students are at their last leg of preparation, here are important preparation tips and tricks to score full marks in the multiple-choice question (MCQ) paper.

Assess strengths and weaknesses

Categorize subjects as strengths and weakness. It does seem like a very simple thing, but it makes a huge difference. Analyze the topics one has expertise in and those that need special attention.

For example, if one can solve 20 math equations in 5 minutes but need time to solve Physics theories in the MCQs, then devote more time to Physics and solving relevant sample papers. Solve as many CBSE MCQs Objective Questions and Sample papers for better preparation.

Focus on managing time

Managing time and solving the entire question paper within the stipulated time is of very much importance while writing exams. Thus, it is crucial that students know the exam pattern which will make them aware of the marking scheme, types of questions asked etc. They should take as many mock tests as possible so as to keep time in check. Practice diligently but take regular breaks.

Make a realistic timetable and stick to it consistently. It is not a productive strategy to ace your exams if you study for 10 hours straight one day and only study for 5 hours the next. Whatever your target is, be sure to maintain consistency. Never rush things. Understanding core concepts and basics properly.

Make notes while studying

Students must note down the important points they come across while studying. These notes come very handy while revising.

Prioritise mental health and focus

Exam stress and fatigue are real things and should not be overlooked. As much as it is important to keep up with your physique, be sure to care for your mind. Practice mindfulness meditation and concentration techniques to help you stay focused, drink 3-4 liters of water, and go for walks to clear up mind.

The exams for CBSE class 10, 12 minor papers will continue till December 7, and for major exams until December 11.
