Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will start evaluation of answer sheets for Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations within 10 days of the last exam date.
CBSE recently announced final date sheet of Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. This has been done to ensure a streamlined and fair assessment process, with the entire board exam evaluation targeted for completion within 45 days from the final exam.
This timeline aims to allow Class 10, 12 board results to be declared well before the start of the new academic session, as reported by Hindustan.
As per the process, evaluators, comprising teachers appointed for the purpose will report to designated centers, where they will follow strict marking schemes and, in some cases, use digital tools for evaluation.
The board is committed to completing the evaluation process efficiently to declare results well before the start of the new academic session. The 10 day gap provides time for logistical preparations, evaluator training, and secure transportation of answer sheets from exam centers to evaluation center.
The initiative will impacts over 30 lakh students who appear for CBSE board exams annually across India and abroad.
