Since 2020, board exam results across several central and state boards witnessed significant highs and lows. Pass percentages of various board results such as UP 12th result 2021, WBCHSE results 2021, JAC 10th results 2021, Mah 12th results 2021 and more, recorded a lot of variation as compared to the year 2020. While board exam 2022 results are yet to be released, let us look at a comparative analysis of the pass percentages of various state and national boards like the CBSE and ICSE.

CBSE 12th result: Pass percentage trend
CBSE 12th Results 2021 recorded a whopping CBSE Class 12 pass percentage 2021 of 99.37% a significant increase from 88.78% in 2020. Amid the ongoing pandemic situation, the board canceled CBSE 12th board exams 2021. According to the data released by the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE), Girls did better than Boys by 0.54% this year. The result of girl students stood at 99.67% whereas boys recorded a pass percentage of 99.13%. In 2020, 88.78 per cent of students had passed. Girls had done better than boys by 5.96 per cent.

ISC 12th Results: Pass percentage trend
In 2021, ISC 12th results recorded a pass percentage of 99.76%, whereas, in 2020, 96.84% of students cleared the exam. According to the data released by the Board, Around 94,011 candidates appeared for ISC Class 12 Board Exams 2021.

State Class 12 Board Results: Pass percentage trend
Several alternative evaluation methods were opted by state boards across the country to release higher secondary board results. Many state boards even decided to promote all students without exams amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation. Comparative analysis of the past years’ pass percentages of state boards revealed a distinct increase in pass percentages in 2021 as compared to the year 2020. The analysis revealed 10th RBSE result 2021, several state boards such as UPMSP result 2021, Kar SSLC results 2022, JKBOSE results, HBSE results 2021, GSEB 10th results and more recorded nearly 100 per cent pass percentages. However, mahresult.nic.in 2021 HSC results, JAC 10th results 2021, UK Board 10th results, and a few more did not touch all-time high bar.
